How many shoes do you pack?

I'm packing for a week at WDW - we leave on Friday and I'm trying to pack light. We won't be dressing up at all - I'm just bringing shorts and a couple of pairs of casual capri's. But at first I still found myself wanting to bring too many shoes. I have to have the sneakers but narrowing down the sandals is tough. I was just wondering - how many shoes do you typically find yourself packing?

I usually go with three pairs- two kinds of sneakers, and a pair of sandals. I've noticed that if I'm starting to get blisters with one pair of sneakers, switching to the other helps, since they won't rub in the same places.

The fun thing is that if you find yourself needing more, you can always run over to World of Disney, and pick up a pair ;) Then it's *necessary* shopping! :teeth:

Have a great trip!

I do the same as Poly Princess: two pairs of sneakers so I can switch off, and one pair of sandals.

I wear my Birkies on the plane and pack my sneakers :)

I always over pack on shoes!! I pack 2 pairs or trainers (one lace up one slip on - I always like to be able to take my shoes off easily on long haul flights), a pair of flip flops (or 2 as they match my swim suits!) for beside the pool, and shoes to match evening outfits (usually about 2 or maybe 3 pairs.) Plus I pack a pair of swim shoes and a pair of sandals. I have serious shoe issues!!
I guess I am not helping with your problem

Whatever matches the outfits I bring =)

I always bring lots of shoes, but I always wear them all. but, we do dress up several times, and I bring diff outfits for when we're not at the park. So I bring whatever shoes match the outfit.

If I was just wearing park attire the entire time, I'd bring some sandals, flipflops or something for the pool, and 2 pairs of athletic shoes =)

I wanna hear Snoopy's answer to this probing question. :p

I used to have serious shoe issues (heck, "Shoe" was how my maiden name was pronounced!).........but I've since conquered the footwear beast.

Now days I take two pair of sneakers and a pair of sandals or slip-ons like thongs.

3. Teva Sandals, my standby tennis shoes (reebok walkers) and a pair of half way dress shoes (usually sandals) in case we go somewhere nice. I wore my Tevas almost the entire time. thwy are sooo comfortable!

One pair of sneakers one pair of flip flops. I can't really wear anything else since I fell down the stairs last winter, but even before i messed up my foot I still only packed 2 to 3 pairs of shoes. Shoes are just not my big concern. If it wouldn't burn my feet off (and if it were allowed) I'd be barefoot all day.

I'm a sneakers kinda girl so that's all I need. I used to bring water shoes when we went to water parks, but we don't go to those anymore.

1 pair of VERY good walking shoes (New Balance for me) and 1 pair of sandals for the water parks.

I pack a pair of heavy duty walking sneakers like Nike AirMax (not the most feminine things to wear, but they're comfy.
I also pack a pair of white keds to wear to dinner or mini golf or someplace that doesn't require a lot of walking. Also a nice pair of sandals for some of the nicer restaurants.

This past June I took two pair of Teva's, a pair of black sandals, and pair of brown sandals, pool flip flops, and my white birki's.

We are going again the end of October. This time I'll probably bring a pair of sneakers, two tevas, two sandals, one black, one brown, and my pool flip flops.

I always take more shoes that I wear, but that usually goes for clothes too. ;)

I have to laugh hysterically at this supposedly matter of fact question! :jumping1:

I only take three pairs now - either two pairs of Birkenstcks and 1 pair of sneakers or 2 pairs of sneakers and 1 pair of Birkenstocks. However, on our first Disney trip, my sister, cvemom, and I took a whole suitcase full of our shoes!
:faint:
When I think about how much we packed back then and how we pack now it can't compare. I could now pack for a whole trip with short notice!

Any takers?:

One pair of New Balance sneakers (wore on the plane), one pair of sandals, and a pair of dollar store flip flops for the pool (or heavy rain).

I would have loved to take more, to match all the clothes I overpacked. Unfortunately, I realized that in order to take more shoes, I would have to pack less clothes (in order to stick to my 1 suitcase per person rule). We could not let that happen now, could we?

Warm season--wear sneakers on the plane and pack 2 pairs of sandals and a pair of flip-flops strictly for pool.

Cold season--wear semi-stylish loafers on the plane and pack a pair of sandals, a pair of sneakers, and a pair of watershoe.

How many shoes do you pack?

According to my DH, too many!

Seriously though, I pack sneakers, a pair of sandles that are brown and a pair that are black.
