How many Shadow's do you think HHI has had since 1996?

I have heard about the golden retriever Shadow that lives at HHI resort. It seems she was a stray that hung around the construction site while they were building it, getting into mischievous. Disney adopted her and she was taken care of by the story teller B'lou Crabbe. I am saying "was" because they determined that her approximate age when they discovered her was 1-2 years old. That would make her 25 years old today.

There is no way that dog is still around 14 years later. Do they still insist Shadow lives there? If she does, she is a different dog.

There has always been more than one Shadow. She does not live at HHI, but she visits, and also has play experiences with other dogs. She’s a legend!

Because of the immense fondness i have for that resort and what they bring to the table for our vacations I like to live in a world where there has always only been one Shadow and I'm really happy with my disregard for reality in this instance. So my answer is one.

Como Zoo in St. Paul Minnesota is on either its 5th or 6th Sparky Sea Lion.

Continuity is good, and I am sure each Shadow has had Best Puppo Life(tm) and is a V GOOD Doggo.

And at least one of the Rocky's was female! I believe that's also the episode where they broke it to him that he was born in Canada. One of my favorites!

OMG you are correct. That was a very funny episode. He found out there were many Rockys, was left back in pre K and Canadian LOL

The Shadow that was there when we were there last, a little over a year ago, was young.

Yes, I noticed that Shadow had gotten a youthful energy in 2018 that had been missing for a while. She even grabbed my complementary cookie that I was holding over my head, "out of reach of the dog". Had to hold her down and fish it out of her mouth. She was a good pupper the whole time and went back to having good Disney manners after that.

For us there is only one Shadow. This was in April 2012 and he was old.
