How many rooms w/an AP?

I got an AP rate on two rooms. Since the person staying in the second room is not arriving until a few days later, the reservationist had to make a second reservation and tie the two reservations together. I've heard that you can reserve up to 3 rooms with one AP under the same reservation. But will my AP be o.k. for the second room under a second reservation? I'll be there to check in the second room.

Unless you do the check in in advance (same day) and put the person's name on with yours. Then they can go to desk to get key.

I was wondering the same thing. We are going with my sister and her family, both checking into CBR the same day. They are transferring to the Poly later in the week, we are then going to WL. When I call to make the ressies how excatly do I do it? Do I put one room in my name and the other in both our names? Do I have to use the same credit card for the deps or can she use hers? We are staying at different resorts later in the week so we will each be making our own ressies with me using my AP for my room and her using her AAA for hers. I would only use the AP discount when we stay at CBR.

mom2of2, I'm assuming you'll be using your AP for both rooms at CBR. Otherwise, it's easier to have two separate reservations. When I reserved both rooms, the reservationist just asked who was going to be in which room. Since you're arriving on the same day, you'll have one confirmation number. You can pay your own deposit and your sister can call in her deposit - just give her the confirmation number. When you arrive, you'll be able to split the reservation - so each room can pay its own balance and have separate charging privileges. My problem arose because the second party is arriving on a later date.
