Just got back from next door and all rooms are done including bathroom.
(holly not user friendly)

Most people I know just usually decorate their living rooms, family rooms, dining rooms and sometimes the kitches.

I have something in every room except our bedroom and DS15's bedroom. I love decorating for Christmas (which is what I have been doing all day).

Are you asking how many rooms we decorate, or how many of them are finished?

If it's the latter...none, yet. :upsidedow We normally decorate this weekend, but due to work and family stuff, we didn't have time. We'll get it up next week, though. :thumbsup2

As for how many rooms we decorate - well, pretty much all of them! I guess the only rooms not decorated are the master bath, and the office. The girls each have a table top tree and Nativity set in their rooms, and I put Christmas towels and bath mats in the girls' bathroom (which is also the guest bathroom, so it has to look nice - lol). I even decorate the kitchen! I *love* Christmas. We have 12 big totes of decorations and 3 full-sized trees. Fortunately there's lots of storage in the attic. :goodvibes

Your post reminded me of something, though. When I was little, my Mom used to have a toilet seat cover with Santa on it. When you lifted the lid, there was Santa again, with his hands over his eyes. :lmao: We always got a kick out of it.

My wife goes crazy in every room except my den. I absolutely refuse to have any decorations in my little corner of the house (bah, humbug!).

I decorate (very simply) my LR, foyer and DR. I put a little poinsetta plant in my guest bathroom on the back of the toilet. I put a few things in the shop and that's it. DD puts up a small tree in her room. I don't want to see it everywhere, lol. My mom decorated everything and it was just really "too much" for me, even back then. :)

The entry, family room, living room and kitchen mainly. Hallway will have a poincetta on the shelf and in the hall bath just a few little touchs.

I will have a decorated, lighted tree on the porch, one in the LR and a small one in the family room. DD did have one in her room, but she doesn't really put it up much anymore.

Haven't put anything up yet, just ran out of time. Planning to get all the totes out of storage after work tomorrow and then do a little each night; decorating the tree next weekend.

We do the majority of our decorating in the family room, but I do have things in the office, kitchen, dining room and main downstairs bathroom as well.

The majority of decorating is in the living room, kitchen/dining and family room. I put up small table top trees in the kids room, and put small things in the bathrooms. I don't decorate the master bedroom or the den.

Every room in the house. I love Christmas and I love to decorate. My DH loved our decorations so much that I have to do it for him to see in Heaven.

I have a 5' tree in the main bathroom, upstairs. It runs on batteries & a timer.

All main rooms finished. Bedrooms and master bath in process. D's bathroom about half done. Some of the rooms have a LOT of decoration, some a little....but it's Christmas all over the house.

We just have our tree up in the living room and I put some pine garland on one of our bookshelves to display our Christmas doo-dads. I put a bow on our front door. We also have lights up outside.

My MIL decorates the whole house and even changes their bedspread to a Christmas one...lol. She has over 300 Santa figures and she displays all of them.

I would love to really do up our house but then I think about having to take it all down and put it away and I decide against going all out.

I have the LR and DR DONE! MY dd17 has her room done. My ds and step sons refuse to let me put anything in their rooms. The bathroom and kitchen will be started tomorrow. I was snicky about our room, I have a red and gold bed spread will pillow shams and matching pillows that I put on when it gets cold. Dh thinks they are just different colors for room. ;)

But yes I try to do something in every room and I'm lucky my dd likes it just as if not more than I do.

Thought I'd take a picture of the tree in the bathroom. Disregard the messy mirror! This is youngest DS's bathroom! :rolleyes1

We're in an apartment and have a huge living room/dining room area. We decorate that and then the kitchen and entry as it all flows together.

The bedrooms and the bathrooms are plain and not decorated because we don't have storage for the Christmas decorations as it is. If we did, we'd be totally decked out.

The corner of the living room that gets the Christmas tree and that is it. I hate decorating, but my mom bought us a tree and I feel it would be rude not to put it up. And yes she knows how much I dislike decorating for the holidays.

I only decorate the living room and the bathroom. The kitchen would have little things like Santa potholders and towel, and the dining room would have a snowman tablecloth.

Before I sold my home in 2006, each year I decorated every single room from top to bottom.. Even had special Christmas mugs; glasses; dinnerware sets; towels; wash cloths; dish towels; etc..

Lots and lots of compliments from visitors..:santa:
