How Many PS's Do You Make For Your Trips?

Depends on the type of trip. If it's just me & my DS (16), I may only make 1 PS every 3 days, if that. We usually fly by the seat of our pants & eat where ever we wind up.

If we are going with DH, or if my parents or other family members are joining us, we tend to make 1 PS a day. DH's favorite part of Disney is the restaurant experience. On top of that, he isn't very patient, so PS's become important for him.

Next trip (April) is a Family Trip & is alot about dining & relaxing. We have plans for 10 PS's for 9 days.

August is just my son & I for a week & we'll probably only make 1 PS.

December is extended family, including my 2 Step-Grandchildren. I imagine we will need to make at least one PS a day. Schedules are really important to them & their comfort.

My and my DD (9) don't do Disney camando style. So I make at point to have one relaxing, sit down meal everyday. I enjoy taking a break after all of that walking.

We usually only make on 1 or 2 per week up front for places we know we want to try. We will usually make 1 per day once we are there depending on our park schedule for the day. I've never had trouble getting a PS for the same day, but that's probably because we make the difficult places in advance.

We have a PS for every dinner nightly, a couple of special lunches, and one or 2 breakfasts. Our stay is usually 8-9 days long. We've gone to LTT for dinner, and had a group of 4-5 people come in ahead of us w/o a PS while we had one. We got seated before them, ate our dinner and were leaving, and I noticed them still waiting. I never leave home with out my PS's!

We always have at least one PS per day. If we do a character breakfast, we will usually have a PS for a dinner that evening and only snack in between. I've been working on our schedule for our summer trip and have 10 PSs to squeeze in! I'm constantly looking at the list, trying to pick a restaurant or two to eliminate, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I'd also much rather have too many PSs than not enough. I've seen too many people turned away or told they would have a 3 hour wait not to have them at all.

Ive been told "have 1 PS for each day especially in the summer"
sooo Im planning on 1 dinner PS (arrival day)
2 char brkfst (days we're changing hotels)
and 11 lunch PS - thinking about 1230/1pm after spending a morning in a park we'll eat and then head back to our resort - a few times Im thinking of either an 11am lunch PS or late brkfst 10am PS followed by pool time

except for the 2 brkfst PS Im planning on making PS at places where we choose what we'll eat - that way I can order a few chicken salads, etc and not feel like I need to eat alot

and the 2 days with char brkfst PS we'll skip lunch

I make 3 for every trip, one Breakfast PS, one lunch PS and one Dinner PS.. however we spread them out because doing them all on one day would be nuts.

This years trip ( this Saturday!!!!) We have PS for Valentines Day Dinner at Tony's, A PS for lunch later in the week at Prime Time and one on our last day for Breakfast at Chef Mickey's

Mmmm I cant wait, its going to be yummy!!

SAra :cool1:

..and watched people being turned away from many restaurants when they did not have a PS. I always make at least dinner PSs for each night of our stay with the occasional breakfast or lunch PS thrown in . (If I make a buffet breakfast PS, I do not do lunch) :mickeybar

that with the myw dining option there will be a lot more ps made with the sitdown places. I am so excited to eat some great places.

For our last trip of 9 nights we had 6. We cancelled one. We normally do lunch PSs.

We have one ps per day. Going in higher peak time this is a wise thing to do. Ya know chicken strips, pizza, and burgers do get old especailly when you go for 12 days!!

We usually eat at all, have had to cancell 1 or 2. Nothing major!!

None--we just walk in. We have been very lucky, plus we often go very early (4:30) or very late (8:45), and don't go during the busiest seasons.

We like to be spontaneous at Disney and just do whatever strikes us--so far this has worked well for us for the 8 trips we've made since we first started buying annual passes in October 2003.
