Hey guys I need some help. One of my co-workers has recently been diagnosed with bone cancer and so my coworkers are sending her and her family to WDW for a vacation. The question is - We have a 2 BR at OKW for April 30-May 5 but have since had some of the other family members be able to get off work and now want to join them so we are in a situation where we need more space. The 2 BR sleeps 8 and we now have 13 going so I need to find something else preferably there for this time could someone please let me know how many points it would take to make this workout for them so i can start checking on renting points on the other board. Thanks so Much for All your help.

Yes, point charts are at the top labled DVC point charts, but don't plan too much on something being available this late in the game. There isn't likely to be much inventory available this close to travel time.

As previously stated, availability is going to be the biggest driver. You're going to have trouble finding anything this close to check-in.

13 people is a tough number because it will force you into a second 2-bedroom unit at OKW. You've already maxed out the first room you've reserved at 8 people, and can only fit 4 into a studio or 1-bedroom.

You could also add two studios, which would be less points than a 2-bedroom. The problem here is that the 3 rooms could be in entirely different buildings.

If you're willing to have them at different resorts, the 1-bedrooms at Animal Kingdom will sleep 5. This would save you some points.

It will cost you more than renting points, but your best bet at a month out is probably doing a cash reservation through CRO. There's a different inventory of rooms open to CRO than there is to members making reservations on points.
