How Many Points to Buy???

We are huge Dis fans. We have a 5 year old and 3 year old (both boys) and may add to the clan (God willing).

We have been to Disneyland (2004) and Disneworld (9/2006)

The kids are now demanding an annual trip (and I am all for it).

The Wilderness Villas looks like what I want.

Here is the question. I am trying to figure out how many points to buy. If I buy 200 pts and the week stay when I want to go costs 213 pts...is there any way to pay for the difference? I mean with cash, or do I have to use part of my points for the next year. I am not totally sure about the banking thing.

for Friday and Saturday nights. Using points for Fri and Sat night is generally not a good idea unless you are staying in a studio. Thanks and Go Vols!

If the stay you are most likely to want is 213 points, then that is the number of points you should buy in at.

You can pay with both points and cash, but you cannot mix the two for any given night. You have to either cover the night with all points or all cash. So, if you have 213 points and 200 points covers 6 nights but you don't have enough to cover the 7th, you'll have to bank, rent, etc. the 13 points and pay cash for the 7th night.

We purchased 390 points at SSR because we wanted to be able to spend 10 days with one weekend stay during the summer.

Bingo!! There is no need to round up or down, if you want 213 you can buy exactly 213.
