How many people have found PIN code when they called?

I've been hoping for a Pin code for a possible May trip. I've received a few pin codes in the last year, but nothing for this upcoming May (at least through e-mail or snail mail). Hoping to use the 40% off Deluxe.

Just curious about how many people have found out they had a pin code only after making a phone call to Disney without receiving it in their mail or e-mail.

I had a code attached to my email address for 40% off any resort through December 31, 2009 No black out dates!!. I learned the code was there in early November when I called and asked. I had been there since May 2009. I never received any type of notification letting me know that I had it. I counldn't use it because our trip is in January.

I had booked CSR for our Apr./10 trip, then knowing my DH wanted to stay at the WL, I called. I asked the CM how much of a price difference there would be from CSR to WL???? He was very quiet. I asked if I had a pin attached to my name? Very quiet once again!!! Then said I see something!!! hesaid with your pin its about $50 in the difference!!!!! He then questioned why I didn't know that I had a pin? I said I did not know, just thought I 'd ask!!! Calling and asking worked for us!!! We are now booked for 2 rooms at the WL!!!! Our first deluxe stay!!!

I called. They said, no, nothing attached. I said, ok, we are not booking!

I called today and I had a PIN attached to my name (never received any notification of it in an email or snail mail). Unfortunately it is only good until the begining of June and we are not going back until Aug...I think.

I called last week out of curiosity, because we want to book for Dec 2010, and we had that PIN too... Or at least one similar, but no recollection of getting an email - unless it was sometime earlier this year!

So sad!!

I had a pin for travel in fall 09 but since I am a teacher, I could not use it. So I called out of curiosity, gave them that pin number and was very pleasantly surprised to be told I had the 2/35/40 % off room rates pin So I booked for April

Just wondering if you called when you got the original pin or just recently? I also had that pin but could not use it at the time.

I have asked many times, when calling WDW ( even as recently as last week) and I always hear the same.....sorry no pins available. I guess I must belong to the "NO PINS FOR YOU!" club. We booked the free dining BB for the end of Sept 2010...but would like to delay that trip into Oct., if a pin would so up. I'm not holding my breath, since we have never ever received any type of pin in the last 10 yrs!!!!!
And yes....I order the planning DVDs, save vacations,take all the surveys inside the parks and online, and call once in awhile to beg the CRO CMs for a possible pin.
