How many people do you think have the points for a GV at Aulani?

I'm wondering what our chances will be in getting a GV at 1113 points for June 2013. I'm hoping that the amount of points needed will scare lots of people away and there will still be one available at 7 months; there will be only 18. (hopefully they will all be ready)

What do you think?

Keep in mind that DVC members do NOT have to book the full week. The GV inventory might be consumed in lots of shorter 2-3 day reservations.

Oooooooh, correction ... I had read "Kidani" earlier instead of "Aulani." So far, with limited inventory released, June reservations at Aulani are showing some strain. Booking a GV at 7 mos could be troublesome. I hope it goes well for you! (Could you consider a pair of 2BR units as a fall back?)

I know we are booking a Grand Villa next Feb. In fact I am booking it tomorrow. So as long as you're not booking in Feb, you have my blessing

Best of luck! Personally, I have yet to find a lot of GV booked when I do searches at Aulani.

We are hoping that all the units are finished, but not too many people will want to spend the points. If we end up with 2bds that will be ok, but the GV are facing the ocean and we probably will never get there again.

I wasn't even thinking of trying for a few days and switching. Duh! That will definitely be something to consider, plus it would save us some points.
