How many MLB games do you attend?

Prices are out of control but I do enjoy them.

Tix seem to be the cheapest part when you add parking, a few dogs and a few beers

We don't go to MLB games due to the cost. But we love, love, love going to minor league games.

As many as we can fit into our schedule. Love my Milwaukee Brewers. :goodvibes

About 25 a season. We have a partial season ticket plan for the Phillies plus we always buy other tickets too. And then also playoff & World Series tickets. Love baseball!!

Some ballparks charge a lot more for tickets than others. We are fortunate that Phillies tickets are reasonable plus they allow spectators to bring their own food and unopened non-alcoholic drinks into the ballpark. We usually bring a little cooler of bottled water and peanuts or hoagies.

I wish more places would do that

We were going to go to a couple this year but after seeing ticket prices we decided to go t a bunch of Minor League games.
There was a thread on the budget board suggesting StubHub for tix and there were some pretty good prices so we'll do that next year.

We have a 14 game plan for the Phillies and another 17 game plan for them. We split them both with another family, so we go to 15-16 games per season.

Plus playoffs! - We had tickets to game 5 of the 2008 World Series that started on a Monday and ended on a Wednesday with the Phillies winning it all!

At least 2 - but if it were up to me, we'd go wayyy more often than that :thumbsup2

Same with the Rangers - for most home games you can get tickets for $7-10. Parking was lowered last season to $10 (from $12). You can bring your own food in a cooler (not sure about drinks, but I'm sure you can), and while we've never done it, we have seen many people who do. Last year I saw one lady bring an entire soft-cooler filled with peanuts and I've seen many families bring food - I saw one large group earlier this season bring at least 20 of their own hot dogs in a soft cooler.

Usually about 10-15 games a season....GO RANGERS!!

Went to Spring Training this year, 5 Major and 2 minor league games there.
Been to 3 AAA games so far this season, going tomorrow night and Saturday too. Usually do 10 or 15 AAA games.
Try to make 4 or 5 A's games a season, always get the $10 seats. Go A's, yeah I know, 8 game losing streak.
Was in San Francisco today, and other than getting stuck in post Giants game traffic, haven't been to a Giants game since 1986. Sorry Giants fans, but I loved Candlestick, no desire to go to the new ball park.

0 and I dont even watch a game. Once upon a time I loved basebal,l but now its you have a player for 5 years then the bigger cities bid on him, that anit no fun for people who dont live in the huge markets

We have a weekend season plan which is 40 pairs of tix. We are able to turn some back in and trade them for discounted parking passes. We also have access to a luxury box for one game at a very reduced price for a group of 18. The real pricey part lf that is the food!

And since we're talking about the A's....we end up giving some tickets away!

The only Major League games I've been to were at Spring Training this year because my best friends husband was playing. The tickets were free thankfully.

Otherwise, over 200 Minor league games in 3 years. All free. ;)

DH took DS8 to his frst game last night. He got free tix from a radio station. Not sure how much they spent. We have been to 4 minor leauge games this year. The minors are much closer to home than MLB so we will probaly see more of those games.

We usually go to about 6 games a year. We haven't made it to any this year because my dh is out of work. We love our Rays.

I'm going to 5 for sure so far. One game I had to buy tickets for 8 people, we are taking my brother's family for his twins birthday but I bought the cheapest Sox tickets I could find with decent seats  I would really like to go to two more Sox games this season since most of our games we are going to are Cubs games since my husband is a fan :crazy2: The only expensive games we are going to are Cubs v White Sox and Cubs v Yankees.

Now NFL on the other hand I've never been to a game because Bears tickets are outrageous. We may travel to another city this year to see a game.

We also have a partial season plan. 22 games plus "reward points" toward more. There is also a single-A club just up the road that we visit quite a bit. It's so fun.

GO NATS! :headache:

Almost never any more, since the prices are just too out of control. A good friend used to get season tickets every year, but the year the price doubled she was done! We take the kids to the minors once in awhile. That's still an affordable good time for a family.
