How many men are wearing crocs?

My DH has 2 pairs and wears them everywhere but work. Definitely the shoe of choice at Disney! We're there at least twice a month, and I see many guys wearing them. DH has navy and brown ones, but my BIL has bright red.

We had this convo and when we went everyone was wearing crocs including men and boys and boy was my husband watching for it. :) No worries. :goodvibes

My husband wears his all the time, just not in Disney, yet. He is a retired Navy SEAL, so it must be a "manly" thing to do! :rotfl2:

My DH is another Navy guy -- wore his everyday, as did my father. There are definitely guys wearing them in the parks.

My DH is wearing dark brown crocs to the parks this year. He thinks that they are not the best looking shoe...but too comfortable to NOT wear to Disney.

I will be wearing my Croc flip flips!:thumbsup2

You know.. I have a picture of myself from our last trip wearing mickey ears with tigger face paint (not sure how DW talked me into that), hugging minnie and mickey while holding a giant mickey mouse rice krispies treat...

Who cares how funny my shoes would look :confused3 :lmao: :lmao:

Don't see many men wearing crocs in the parks.. but if they are comfortable then why not? :thumbsup2

I worry aboput wearing them out to places because when I wear my sandals or flip flops I tend to get stinky feet...I had that problem on our last plane trip....My wife noticed my feet started smelling I was so embarrassed...thats the biggest reason I dont wear them out too much

I really don't like them myself, but I'm really big on not caring what other people think - if they like them, no better place to wear them than WDW , imo, because with all the silly goofy hats and other vacation garb, everyone's being a little silly there.

I don't really care what other people think either, but I imagine if you wear them, you get this urge when you walk to go around gallumping, going "hyuk, hyuk".

They are definitely gardening/water shoes, and no one really looks good in them with any clothing combination:

I don't suppose you'll see Jack Nicholson at WDW.

I have a pair of mickey crocs. Iv'e worn them all over the place. I needed some trim and wood for a project at home so I wore them to Home Depot. Man there comfie. they will be going with me to Disney in May.

we get the 1/2-the-price ones at Payless, and DH gets these ones shaped like a tennis shoe instead of a clog. Still very open, and velcro not tie. No one would ever even notice them. He loves them. He has long narrow feet and they fit much better than the clogs. But I don't know if he would wear the obvios clog ones as much.

My DH wore his every day on his last trip and he will wear them again next time--he has actually worn out 3 pairs. For a week at DW, comfort, not fashion, is our main concern. Besides, on guys like DH-- 6'2'' athletic, football frame, they don't even look wierd to me. Now on my birdie ankles, on the other hand. . . .:rotfl2:

Two weeks ago my almost 14 year old DS wore his army green crocs to Epcot. They were very comfortable for him. He did need to put socks on w/ them later in the day.

I am amazed in general how many people wear them. ;) They are so incredibly poplular.

I think they are ugly, but everybody swears by their comfort. In all honesty, and I have not worn them to attest, but they look like they would feel the same as wearing Jellies lined with hard rubber.

Do they feel as hard as they look?

I'm a guy and I wore them all day & night in the MK during our trip. Very comfortable.

A couple weeks ago DH slipped mine on (endeavor, no hole style) to step outside for a minute (my shoes were by the door) and they were too small for him but he said he was impressed how comfortable they actually were. So I just ordered him a pair of Endeavor (formally named the Aspen ) in his size & color black because he said he'd wear the ones that style (w/out the holes).

I see an ever increasing number of men wearing Crocs at the parks and around my city. I bought a pair last summer and soon afterward developed the worst back pain I have ever experienced. It was so bad that I missed a day of work and had to spend a few hundred dollars on massages. A several friends of mine, including a doctor, suggested that the Crocs were to blame. The pain went away after I stopped wearing them and it has not come back since. No more Crocs for me....

I don't understand the "they're unfashionable" attitude from men. I'm a man, and I wear what's comfortable (although I haven't tried Crocs). I don't care what's fashionable.

Have all men turned metrosexual?

My bedroom slippers are comfortable, but I don't wear them in public.
