How many letters on Mickey Ears?

How many letters can be put on the Mickey ears?
I REALLY need to have 1 set of ears with 17 characters including spaces plus a question mark, and another set with 12 w/ spaces plus an exclamation mark. (Will you marry me? and She said yes!). I can knock down the first set to 8 characters (Marry me?) and nix the question mark and exclamation mark if necessary.
I have til Feb, but need to know if this part of the plan can even be done?
Her saying yes isn't a problem at all, but I still want to make it as memorable as it should be.

We just bought the traditional Mickey Ears, and both my son and my names are 7 letters long. W/the "font" they use, I could only see a few more letters being able to be added. I hope it works out for you!!!

The only thing that they write are first names. They don't do any nicknames or last names. It's a very cute idea and it never hurts to ask.

I was also under the impression that they will only put names on the hats. It doesn't hurt to ask but I wouldn't count on it. You might call and talk to someone in advance before you plan anything more elaborate.

Worse comes to worse, I might just get 2 blank hats and get someone with good penmanship to write on the hats with a silver marker.

Hello!

I don't know the amount of letters as we have never been to WDW (going for the FIRST time in December) but I have a suggestion.

Our local sports monogramming store will stich anything on anything for $3.00. You could buy blank ones and have them stiched locally.
