thinking in terms of 7x7 or 8x8 albums? I was just wondering because it will help when we make our elements to know what the majority is thinking album wise. I mean if you even know what kind of album you will use.

I will probably do the CM 7x7 book. I have one that I have been wondering what to do with - we take way to many photos to use it as a trip book.

I'm definitely thinking a smaller 8 x 8. Probably will use the CM album. It's the only way to do a 2-page spread per letter.

I really like that idea! I've got the CM book and I haven't used it yet. It's 7 x 7 right? If most people are thinking smaller, it would be a good idea to use a smaller alphabet and smaller elements so that they don't overwhelm the page.

I am using my CM 7x7 also. I haven't used it up til now because I had too many pics. But I can see where doing over an old trip would be good in an ABC album with less pics. I have a trip I pulled out of a spiral bound book so I think this will work well for me.

If everyone else is saying their CM book is a 7x7 I think that's what mine must be too -- I have the red one with the little mickey head in the bottom corner - I got it last year - I'm not sure what size it is and I can't find it right now to see :confused3 -- if anyone else knows what size it is - thats the one I'm using!

I'm using an 8 x 8 book. I think under topper it says to make like 6.5 in. or about that size so it is not to big for the smaller books. I think a bigger book would be to big unless you use multiple items for each letter.

That is exactly right. Normally the toppers are 8.5" or 9" minimum and I figured that most of us would be going with a smaller book so thought that 6" would be better. I also think we should stick with a 1 1/2" letter so that it's not too overwhelming either, but that is just my opinion.

I thought the CM book itself is 8 x 8 but the pages are actually 7 x 7. At least this is what it looked like when I measured it. I think it's the perfect size for an ABCs album!

I don't do separate books. I will incorporate them into my 12 x 12 books. If I do two on a page, the smaller size should work for me. Or, I may incorporate them into the different page layouts. So, whatever the group decides is fine with me! :flower:

I will be using the pieces in my 12 x 12 albums, not as an actual ABC book. I can just adapt some of the pieces, like the borders, to fit my pages. Most of the pieces can be used as they are, so whatever the majority wants is fine with me.

Yep - it is 7 x 7 - of course the precut paper packs at the craft stores come in 8 x 8 and 6 x 6 :headache: so I always have to cut them down for 7 x 7.

Another CM Disney 7x7 here !!! I can't wait to get the final votes in so we can vote on letters and elements so we can get this party started !!!!

I'll be using a CM book too. So 6" works for me.
