How many houses/places have you lived?

Another thread got me thinking.

I am 40 and have lived in 20+ houses/apartments in my life.

I have only lived in the US, but in 4 different states and multiple cities in those states.

How about you?

Hmmmm...

At least 20 not including college life--that's 4 separate locations...so at least 24 in 4 different states. Military brat plus nomad military mom--so lots of those were "lease is up, we gotta find something different" type moves. All this was prior to age 25.

We are buying a house in Virginia, so I'll be adding another location (and state) to my list after more than a decade in my current place.

I've lived in three different houses. All in the same city and state.

I am 33 and I have lived in 4 places.....

I started out at my parents' house
Was given to my grandparents at about 3 months old, and lived there until I got married at 20.
DH & I lived in an apartment for about a year
Then we bought our house.

I don't plan to move anymore either. House will be paid for on my 40th birthday and I'd like to keep it that way!

I'm 22 and I've lived in 2 places, two different neighboring cities. I never understand when people choose to move and live in soooo many different places... not including when you have to move. This girl I know moved from Alaska to Washington to Portland, OR and is now moving to Corvallis, OR... all within one year. Why? Why not just move from Alaska to Corvallis? I don't like the nomad feeling, it's torture to me.

Oh well... whatever floats your boat.

I am 58 years old and I have lived in five homes - all within a 15 mile radius

9 houses in 32 years 2 Provinces, 4 towns. Started in Nova Scotia 14 years, 2 years in P.E.I., back to NS for 5 years then the rest in P.E.I., 3 houses since we got married a 2 bdr house, a 4 bdr on 1 acre, now a 3 bdr on almost 80 acres.

Aside from the mobile home I lived in from birth-3 yrs, I lived in one house with my parents, and now my DH and I are in our third permanent house, and have one vacation house in Montana.

I'm 32 and have lived in 15 different places if I include boot camp and the two aircraft carriers I was stationed on, in 7 different states. I get itchy feet every 4 years or so now, drives my DH crazy. Funny thing is I grew up in a place where very, very few people left the town or the county; many of my friend's children attend the same school we did.
