How many holiday cards do you send every year?

Comments welcome!

0... the only 0 option that really fit is not having time, but that's not entirely true either. There were a couple of years that I truly didn't have the time, but then got out of the tradition of sending them and we're just fine with that! :thumbsup2

I mailed 35 this morning.. Some years I send them and some years I don't.. Depends on the time factor.. We're not doing a lot of decorating this year - too pressed for time after returning from Disney last Sunday - so this morning I did the cards and hopefully we can do the tree this afternoon or evening.. :)

I think I sent 25 or 26. Cut it down last year (had been sending 40-50) and would like to cut it down even more.

I decided to stop sending cards to "aquaintances" that we never, ever see and only keep in touch with at Christmas since we only sent/received cards and no personal notes/letters. And when I didn't send cards, they didn't either so I felt they were only sending them to us because I sent to them.

36 personal ones I didnt my business ones this year

I mail out less than 20, which I keep to people that I *want* to send them to. No obligation cards, here. Then I also give some to our rental property tenants and coworkers.

I'm always amazed at how little time they take to put together. I don't know why I keep putting them off, it really only an hour (even less if your printer is working!). It's a nice tradition.

ETA - And while I don't tend to send out the overtly religious one (with Mary, a star in the sky, or a baby in a manger) I never shy away from "Merry Christmas" or Santa Claus or a decorated trees. I even send one to my Jewish friend, although she's not very religious either. She told me she loves it since she never had a tree growing up! I actually get really annoyed when people send the Seasons Greetings one. I mean really, what does that mean?

We send 125 every year. Dh and I both have large extended families that we will not see at Christmas and we always send a photo. Everyone always comments that they look forward to our family photo every year since we do not get to see them often.

You are soooooooooo off my Christmas card list for that smart aleck remark, Mister! :furious:

I sent over 60 personal Christmas cards and over 100 business ones. Pop Daddy did NOT receive one of those 160 cards. :teeth:

I think it's more like #6,782... Your loss, my sexist friend! :teeth: And they were photo cards, too! ;)

(I have never completely forgiven you for causing me to flunk that test back in high school when you told me that you had all of the correct answers and that I should copy off your paper and I did and I almost didn't graduate! :sad2: )
