I am leaving for a solo trip on Fridayso I was wondering how many of us do the same?

If you do what do you look forward to?

I have done three....all of them though pretty short (5 days or less) miss my kids to much :) I made lots of meets up and then filled in the empty time doing fave rides, shopping, eating, laying by the pool with a book, eating, drinking (ssshhh) don't tell anyone...eating. I went to PI last time for the first time, and had a blast!!! Have a great time Lisa!

ALL my trips are solo - that's why I was so desperate to try to have a DIS meet last trip. Too desperate. No one showed up.

I've taken 5 solo trips, #6 in December. Remember, the DIS has a solo board with lots of good tips. I look forward to doing what I want when I want, going where I want, sitting when I want, etc. But if you read the solo board you'll see I warn people who take solo trips, then family trips. You can get too used to being selfish if you're not careful!

My last 5 trips have been solo. I love touring solo :)

I've done many trips to WDW solo. I really enjoy my solo trips; you get to go where you want, when you want to do it. You don't have to worry about anyone else being tired/hungry/bored when you are, and you can do things that you wouldn't do when you're with friends/family. Going solo is a blast! :)

I go solo on occasion and love it. More often than not, even when DH is there he doesn't go to the parks every day...not his thing. I love being able to leisurely stroll through the parks going on rides...doing whatever I want, whenever I want.

Even dinner can be cool...I've been the the LTT and the characters make a big deal out of it because you are alone. Sit at the wine bar in Chefs de France. I went and had lunch in Germany and they put you with others so you aren't alone...people were really nice and included me in conversations so I had company!

Not to worry, no one looks at you strangely or bothers you unless you want them to!

I went to both DIScon's solo. On the most recent trip, I was away from home for nearly 2 weeks. Although I enjoy my solo excursions to WDW, I won't be leaving my family for that long again. One nice thing about going solo is that your plans are your own. Hakuna matata. No worries.

I have had 1 solo trip--Dis Con 2002. I had a great time with everyone. I think I was only "solo" though when I was sleeping. All the rest of the time I was with lots of Dis'ers.

I have done one and it was different.... But after I got there I ran in to so many people I knew it was like old home week... I hope you are having fun Lisa!!!
