How many Euros would you suggest taking per day, for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, if you're planning to pay for meals on a credit card (I assume all restaurants take credit cards, even ones like Cowboy Cookout?) I'm thinking for snacks, drinks, the inevitable toys and so on...

You can pay for toys/souvenirs etc with your credit card as well, if you prefer.

We just got back last night.
We had half board plus, but paid cash for everying else. One adult, one child. So for a counter-service lunch (Caseys corner, Toad Hall, En Coulisse in the Studios) plus all our souvenirs, drinks etc, we spent an average of 30 euros per day total.

Wow! You did well!

I'd say like 20E for snacks for 4 of you. I bought my souvenirs on card, and mostly in one big blow out, which came to about 100E (excluding my snow golbe obv.)

We spent about €60 a day roughly on food and toys etc.

Most of which was paid for using a Travel Money Card (LloydsTSB or the post office do them)

Basically top it up online or on the phone, then use it anywhere that displays the VISA sign. Only did it this way to make sure we didn't overspend on the debit/credit cards lol

We took €100 in cash for a 2 week break. This paid for tolls there and back.
Only the carts did not take credit cards :)
