I was just curious to see how many reward points some of you folks have gotten on your Disney Visa? I am only at a low 45 right now!! But Christmas is coming up, plus I will be paying off the cruise with this. My sis in law has bunches, but she winds up charging her daughters college tuition so she really get the points!!( We always pay off our balances every month)
Hopefully to go with these points I am going to ask my travel agent about the $50 onboard credit that I have been reading about here, and I also have a gift certic. to the Disney Store and I was going to go and get Disney Dollars with that. I do not live close to a store so hopefully I will get to one soon. I am just hoping to get enough reward points to be able to pay for maybe an eco tour and a round of bingo or two?!!
I am anxious to see who has the highest # of points.

We have about 600 points on ours. We also pay off the balance every month. The college tuition is a great idea.

BTW: Go Patriots!!

Right now I have about $170. I use my Disney Visa to pay for anything Disney related and anyplace that AMEX is not accepted (Amex points are better, IMHO). I also don't carry a balance. We had our house painted last week and it was $6k. They didn't take amex so we'll be getting another $60 in points. DD and I are going to Disneyland in June for a day and I'm hoping to pay for the tickets, meals, and some souveneirs with the points.

We ran all my dh doctor's bills through the disney visa first, even though we paid them off with an insurance account right after they posted. I tried to run the downpayment on our new house through it, but they had to have a check! :smooth: We have about $200 in points on it now.

wow 600 points!!! I can only hope!!! That would be great!

Oh Yeah I forgot....................See ya on Sunday!!!!

Just called to request our rewards for our Visa. Had 878, but left 10 so I have the minimum in order to transfer the rest for our Nov cruise. We bought a house last year and needed a yard, blinds, landscaping, plus DH put a lot of business trips on it. Our Disney Visa will pay for almost all of our onboard purchases.

We used $690.00 on our last cruise last November. Like the others we charge everything we can every month and pay it off. We never carry a balance. We record it in our checkbook like using a debit card so we never overspend. Right now we have close to $300.00 and hope to have at least $500.00 for our next cruise next March. That will pay for our tips and some other things. We love it! ::MickeyMo

We had a little over 400 but it paid for our on shore excursions :)!! After my divorce, I had to buy all new furniture and tons of stuff for the house so it didn't take long to add up. Thankfully that is paid for now though!!! now time to put another cruise on it :)!!

We had 120 in June. I used those for treats and drinks at WDW. Then in September I used the 79 I had for the wine package on our cruise. I pay my off every month as well but my Citi card gets better points and I get cash for it. So I use it more than the Disney Visa.

We charge EVERYTHING on this card including monthly bills that allow a cc payment. Along with that, it has been a HORRIBLE year for us with TONS of unplanned expenses. Luckily, we've still been able pay the balance every month(thanks DW!) We have 500 already transferred to our rewards card and 300 more in the wings, so 800 and counting. We'll probably hit 900 before our cruise.

I just cashed in 295 and should have another 10-15 that I can transfer to my rewards card next month after our statement closes. Looking forward to having some "free" money for our trip! :cool1:

We have over 400. We are going to use it to pay our DVC maintenance in January.

Not all colleges will allow tuition to be put on a credit card. It is essentially discounting the tuition received for the school's operation by about 3%.

As of our August sattement we had a little under $900. Not sure whether to be happy about it or wonder where we are spending all of our money. Seriously though... We charge everything too and we pay off every month.

When they stop posting points last November, I called and was told that there was a max. I argued that their policy would punish their higher spending customers. While she agreed, there was nothing this customer service rep could do. We did move to a new house so our spending was unusually high last year. I now have a Marriott Rewards card so at least I'll be getting some points towards the end of the year.
I spent 985 Disney dollars at BCV last November and expect 550 by our cruise this November.

I have--" A Lot"

We use it for everything, cable, phone, oil, gas, purchases for business.

We have about 400 pt. We are saving them to purchase our annual DL passes for next year.

We have about 180 that we're using on our cruise next month - it took us about a year to generate that much, and it included 25 bonus points from Chase when we first opened the card last fall.

Can't wait to spend it at the spa! :goodvibes

What exactly is the "max"? We have a few hundred now, but have a while before we sail. I'm hoping to have enought so that one of my kids sail "free".

Used $1015 rewards dollars in advance toward the fare at DU's site, and then there were about 50 or so that I applied to on-board bill at Guest Services that accrued between final payment date and sailing.
