LOL I live about 45 minutes away from the Port, check the rates all the time and book or move a current booking whenever there is a deal I can take advantage of. In addition to my Christmas credit union account - I have a cruise savings account. If you get the deals, cruising can cost the same as staying home. (okay so a bit of an exaggeration, but I have to convince my hubby somehow!)

8 on DCL (with #9 next week, and #10 booked for 2011)
1 on RCCL
1 on Princess
1 on the Queen Mary 2

We just realized that our 7 year old DD will become a gold Castaway Club member after our cruise next week. :sad2: What are we creating?!? ;) We never took a cruise until our honeymoon, which was on the Magic in 2000. I guess we're hooked!

Two 7 day on the Magic and one at the end of the month. One 7 day on The Norway (when she was with NCL) . Still very sad about her fate - never will cruise NCL again.

Plan to book another on board for 2012.

We're going on our third Disney cruise in Feb 2011. My husband has been on 2 Carnival cruises prior to us meeting, marrying and having our family.

What did you think of the QM2?

Well...all things considered, I don't think that we'd do it again, but it was an experience. DH and I were in our late-30s when we cruised about 3 years ago, and I think we were one of the youngest couples on the ship. We did a 5-day out of NYC over Memorial Day weekend that went up the coast to Boston (which was a great day...hi-lite of the trip) and Nova Scotia (got a lot of great pics, but it was COLD). It was too cold to sit out on the deck much...we tried to sit out on the nice padded lounge chairs (covered in blankets) to read, but it was just too windy. We aren't really big on the casino, and the only activities going on during the day were one workshop on Scarf Tying and a seminar on Lower Back Pain...not kidding. The food was ok, but we learned quickly that their idea of bacon was not our idea of bacon. At dinner, we could usually only find maybe one entree that appealed to us, but nothing that bowled us over. In the evening, we would go to the show and then walk around the ship taking in the sights. It was definitely a more mellow atmosphere than what we are used to on a cruise, but we met some very interesting people...especially the two older ladies who were at our dinner table. They were cruising primarily for the ballroom dancing, but they typically danced together, because (according to them) the 'gentlemen hosts' were dreadful dancers. We went to the ballroom a couple of times to watch them dance. Like I said, I don't think that we would go again, but we definitely took away some memories!

ONE!

May Mediterranean on the Magic...

Couldn't keep us away for long, kids sail free got us on the March Wonder to the Riviera...our next goal is to plan August 2012 for our 20th Anniversary...hopefully on the Dream...then do one last one on the Fantasy, and that will be the limit to our cruise experiences....we have a farm with animals and it's just too hard to take off...unless it's on a saddle! :)

But we loved our first cruise, hoping the next 3 will be as much fun! :)
