How many days to do both DL and CA with time to take swim breaks back at DLH??? I'm clueless on this one! Trying to figure out how many nights to book. Thanks!

It's going to be pretty busy -- would you be able to do four days? That'll give you time to do both parks at a leisurely pace, and go to the pools to relax.

If you are absolutely pressed for time, you could do each park in one day - but you would be rushing from one attraction to another, getting fastpasses, etc.

Thanks. Do you think we could do CA in one day and DL in two? I was thinking about booking four nights, but the first day might be a wash due to flight.

I think that would be a good plan. Disneyland typically opens before DCA, so you might even start your mornings at DL & then hop over to DCA, or sleep in, if you'd prefer.

We like either 4 nights/5 days or 5 nights/6 days. We like to leave the parks around 12-1, relax by the pool, relax in the wonderful GCH lobby, go back in the evening. . .

We're going for 5 days but that is mostly due to the fact that we have never been there and we are a big group and don't want to miss anything. I would go for as many days as you can to ensure that it is a relaxing trip and that you don't miss anything.

How many days you want to go can also depend upon when you are going. It you are going in the off season, the hours are shorter, but lines can be short so you can ride more rides.

I like at least 4 days. One thing you might consider, depending upon your flight plans and when you are going, is whether you might want to go to the park(s) the morning after your last night. If you are going during the busy summer season, DL may open at 8AM. If you aren't flying out until say, mid-afternoon, you can go to the parks early and ride several rides before your hotel checkout and/or trip back to the airport. (The hotel will hold your baggage). I think the 4th day costs around $20/person. Just a thought...

Then again, if you have a little time, but not enough to justify going to the park, you might schedule a nice breakfast at GK the last morning.

We were there two weeks ago and spent four nights. We got in mid day on Tudesday and had a few hours at DL at the time they closed at 7) it was nice to be relaxed and spend some time in the afternoons at the pool (my dd is five). Still don't feel like we saw everything.

We are going at the end of August and staying 6 nights at the DLH. We have 5 day hoppers. The last time we went was in Oct. 2000 and we were there for 3 days. With it being off season, that was plenty of time to see and do everything (no DCA in 2000). I would have liked one more day....I just wasn't ready to leave.

My DW and I have never been. We are going for 6 night/5 days, the first week of Aug. Because it will be crowded and hot, we want to be able to see everything at least once and still be able to relax by the pool. We plan on hitting the parks in the morning, leaving at lunch or right after lunch and relaxing by the pool then heading back in the evening.

We're going for 3 days June 27-29. Probably DL for 2 and DCA for 1. I know it'll be crowded but we will not be leaving for swim breaks. Do you think this'll be enough time to see most of the attractions. We've been to WDW several times so we might be able to skip a few rides if the lines are terrible and SM will be closed so that's one line we'll miss. We're early birds so I'm hoping to be there at opening. Or should I plan for four? My DSis (who we're visiting and who is not a Disney freak) thinks 3 is way too much and will probably flip if we say 4 :earseek: . She just doesn't get it! :earboy2:
