Sorry - more questions....

So we've decided to just stick around DL, instead of trying to do Sea World and Legoland. We'd still love to do them someday, but since the kids are pretty young (5, 3 and 1), we still have plenty of time, and we are hoping that this trip becomes the first of a yearly (or every other yearly) trip to DL for our family, so we'll have lots of opportunities later.

So my question now is, how long should we attempt at DL with 3 little ones? We basically intend to be there early in the am for opening, ride and play till lunch then return to the hotel for naps, and depending on our moods, go back to the park in the late afternoon for a few hours before dinner and bed. We can stay up to a week in the area (even longer if we wished, but I think a week is probably all we can handle). So which park hopper should we get? The arrival and departure days are planned as a write off - by the time we unpack/repack and get settled the day will be shot. Is a 4 day pass too much?
Any ideas/opinions appreciated!
Thanks!
Carm

We were there for a week and if my memory serves me correctly we did a 4 day hopper and spent 2 days at the local beaches. 4 days was plenty! I am thinking we might have done 3 days????:confused3 We were there from morning till night though!:rolleyes1

I think 3 days would be perfect. But it also depends on what time of year you are planning on going. If you are going in the summer you could easily do 4 or 5 days there just because of the crowds. My personal favorite time is in November when all of the Christmas decorations are up, and crowds are down.

I agree with PP. Depends on the time of year. During off season, 3 days is fine. During busier season 4 or 5 days. During the week in between Christmas and New Years, 5 is mandatory, more I would recommend.

3-4 days. Three if you are familiar with DL and DCA, 4 if you are not. (Extra day to cover things that you wanted to do but didn't get the chance.)

We did 5 day hoppers during a busy time of year. It was nice to have some extra days, because honestly those melt-downs, and diaper changes just take extra time!!:scared1:

Be sure and plan an extra rest day for YOURSELF---chasing toddlers around DL, and trying to keep them fed, napped and happy is fairly exhausting!!;)
