How early do you think I will need to arrive before our wedding? We are only having a escape wedding. How early did you arrive or do you plan to arrive?

My wedding is on a Wedneday and we are going to arrive early monday morning.

My wedding is on friday, and we are arriving on monday. We are having a mini vacation with the family before the wedding.

Hi!! I'm having an Escape on a Friday afternoon and we are arriving Thursday morning. I am starting to wish I was heading up there Wednesday....but I think it's too late to change my time off from work! :sad2:
Good luck!!:goodvibes

I think 2 days is the norm (that's what we're doing too, wedding is on Thursday, we're arriving on Tuesday.) However, if you are planning on going to the courthouse and getting your marriage license, if you are going to have to go pick up tuxes, or if you are planning on getting any spa treatments there before the wedding, I would suggest 3-4 days early. I think having only 2 days to do some of those offsite things might be too stressful!

hmmm, I am also arriving on a monday (a week after kim) and will also have a mini-vaca before my friday wedding, sept 21st.
very similar....

Our wedding was on a tuesday and we arrived on the Thursday evening but that was because we had a long flight....and the flights are cheaper if there are not on a weekend LOL!!

We were married on Thursday (Intimate wedding) and we arrived Wednesday about 2:00 pm. There was nothing to do except a mini "rehearsal" and dinner Wednesday night. Also, we are Passholders and at Disney a lot, so it wasn't like we needed to have a Disney vacation - but if you want to have lots of Disney time you can arrive as early as you want.

Our wedding is on a Friday at noon and we will arrive on Thursday morning. I'm not crazy about that, but my DF is a part-time student and has a final the Wednesday evening before, so that's the soonest we could get down there. If I had a choice, we'd arrive on Wed. morning.

Oh, and we are having an escape wedding.

do you need a rehersal for an Intimate/Escape? There's only the 2 of us in the wedding party (it's a VR for us) and a few guests. I hadn't planned time for one.

You definitely do not need a rehearsal. Our wedding party consisted of me and DH, my daddy, and my niece (MOH). We just went out on WL Sunrise Terrace to show them (DH and I had seen it many times) and to practice how we'd walk and where we'd stand. No Rev. Jack or Disney person there, just a run-through with our little group. This was mainly for my daddy who uses a walker most of the time (although he didn't to walk me out :) ) and DH's parents who wanted something more "formal." Then we had dinner so I called it a rehearsal dinner :goodvibes

We are arriving Wednesday morning for our Monday evening Wedding but we are planning on doing a bridal tea, spa treatments, rehearsal and rehearsal luncheon and park time with our family.

We arrived on the Thursday, got the licence on the Friday and got married on the Monday. Had spa treatments on the Saturday and spent some time with our guests.

We arrived on Sunday for our Tuesday Wedding ... got our marriage liscenses on Monday... the next day we were hitched. Had plenty of time and it was good to use all the extra days to honeymoon

We're going on a Wednesday (1 week from today :goodvibes ) for our Monday wedding. Actually my mom and I are just going Wednesday so we can finish shopping for the welcome bags and relax before the chaos. DF and the other 62 people are all coming Friday. Saturday, our whole bridal party, us, and some other friends are attempting to do 4 parks in one day and Pleasure Island (not going to happen ;) ) and Sunday is pool time, rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. We'll have a lot of time beforehand :goodvibes

Originally we were going to arrive Thursday afternoon for a 10.00am Friday morning wedding. I started to worry about flight delays so I changed the wedding date. We are now arriving Thursday afternoon for our 10.00am wedding on Monday.

We are flying on thursday and are hoping for a tuesday wedding.

We cant confirm till sept so fingers crossed!

DF and I are thinkng about arriving early friday morning so we can rent a car and get our ML and then my DM and I can go to the store and get some last minute shopping done for the welcome bags and get those delivered to the hotels before a lot of people arrive on Saturday for our Tuesday wedding.
