How many days for each park?

We are going for a week and splitting our time between Universal Studios and Disney World. We want to see MGM and Animal Kingdom. (We've done Magic Kingdom and Epcot as kids, my husband wasn't thrilled with those parks). Would you say a day in each of these parks is enough time? We were also thinking about going to a water park, too like Blizzard Beach. We were thinking about 3 days...

A Day is probably sufficient for both AK and MGM and that would leave your 3rd day for Blizzard beach. Hard for me to imagine a trip to WDW with doing Epcot and MK though....

You said that you visited the parks as kids.... if it was more than 5 years ago, I think you might be surprised by the changes, especially Epcot.

A day each in AK and MGM is perfect. You could even go to MK and EPCOT in the evenings just for a quick review. Especially EPCOT, for adults this park is a blast.

Blizzard Beach, you are good for a day.

Universal and IOA are a blast. Enjoy!

Magic Kingdom was too childish for him. He went when he was 11 years old and hated it. He said he didn't like Epcot because there weren't any rides. But what he read about MGM and Animal Kingdom he is looking forward to going there. I guess more attractions that aren't too childish (?). Needless to say the rest of our Orlando trip is at Universal Studios.

I have to spend at least 2 days for each park except 1 day for Animal Kingdom. I can't imagine anything less!

Epcot isn't what it use to be. It has rides now! Mission Space, Test Track and the new Soaring just to name a few. We never went to Epcot before but we would never miss it now. Maybe he would enjoy Disney Quest?
