How many days for DLR

I'm now thinking about going to DLR the first week of December, so that we can really enjoy the Christmas decorations. We then wouldn't go to San Diego, which was part of our original plan. This leads me to wonder how many days to go for. At WDW my DD6 can't stay up for evening events, but I'm wondering if we could at least do WOC, if we were taking it easy on the trip. If we want to have a relaxing trip, how many days would you recommend? Thanks. Pam

If you were really taking it easy I'd say 4 or 5. We can easily spend 4 or 5 days there at a good pace and still not see everything we wanted to. But I have to admit that some things we do more than once, so that's why. Anyway, there is so much to see in December I'd do no less than 4. :goodvibes

Personally, I think that 2 to 3 days is perfect at DL, 2 is rushed, 3 is laid back, but more than that at a single time would be overkill to me. It is very different than WDW, where I think that 7 days wouldn't be enough..

laid back? We do 5 to be laid back... we even did 6 days once, that was awesome... 4 is pretty rushed for me, but we like to do fireworks one night, F! another, etc...

3-5, 3 gets you at least one weekday which makes a difference. 5 gets you at least 3 week days which is great to see everything. But the parades may not run during the week, nor the fireworks or F! so 5 can get everything the parks have to offer in.

When I and my family visited DL and DCA (me, my dw, ds, dd) we stayed for 5 days. It worked for us. We did not feel rushed or pressured into getting there at opening every morning. The kids got to do everything they wanted and have plenty time to do pin shopping and trading. We saw WOC and Fantasmic, fireworks and other shows. We rode every ride we wanted and still could have gone back to ride more, especially TSMM. You could see everything in 2 days if you hurried a little but we wanted a vacation not just a visit to Disneyland. We decided that if we erred it would be on the side of too much than too little. We did not want to regret being short 1 day or so since we can not go every year. GL and have a awesome vacation whatever you decide. :dance3:

We have so far only done 3 days (on three different occasions). That was not nearly enough. We were there open to close with no breaks and still did not see everything we would have liked. Of course we have only ever gone during the summer.

This time we are going 5 days the end of Sept. I can't wait! :cloud9:
