We bought the week passes a months ago, but I'm wondering how many days we will want to use? We have kids aged 14 and 7, so I'm not sure if my sons will be tall enough to go on a lot of the rides. (Hoping they are big enough for the Harry Potter rides, which is why we are going!) Never been here, so have no idea how many days to plan on between here and Disney.

TIA! :goodvibes

I would say at least three days...two full days and one day to go back and ride the attractions you either missed or want to ride again.

Thanks!! :goodvibes I was hoping we could stretch it out at least 3 days so that we can use our Give a Day free ticket at Disney and then just get 1 more Disney day for this trip. Makes me sad to think of only 2 days at Disney, but I'm hoping Harry Potter and all of the other things at Universal make up for it!

I was going to say "2" days...

We've done US/IoA in one day...three different visits...but our kids are all basically the same age...

Yours are not.. so = more rides...

PLUS our last visit was Memorial Day weekend last year...so before HP, RRR....

So guess I'll agree with PP's.... 3 days...

Hugs,
Mary

There's been some times we've gone for 4+ days and just didn't get a chance to see this show or do that ride (not the faves tho).

Just depends what you are 'into'.

Some peeps make it a point to hang at the pools. Some eat (alot). Some just do the kewl rides.

Some want to get their every cent worth and see/do it ALL!!! (which, is why it takes some time because of timing the shows and such)

As far as height, I suppose it depends on how tall your kids are. My 14 year old has hit the 6 feet tall mark, so he's obviously tall enough. LOL My 7 year old is about 49". There are only a few rides at Universal that she won't be able to go on. Namely the roller coasters (Hulk, RRR, and the one that was Dueling Dragons which is now part of Harry Potter) and Dr. Doom. The HP ride that is getting all the press, The Forbidden Journey, has a 48" requirement. I assume your 14 year old is tall enough, but maybe not your 7 year old. I know DS11 is on the short side and didn't hit 48" until 7. HTH

Thanks! My twins are a little on the short side, too, but one is 48 inches, the other 47. Need to get that boy to grow some more by the end of the year, or get him shoes with bigger soles! ;)
