How many days do you need at Disneyland/CA?

For general idea -

2-3 days for Disneyland
1-2 day for DCA (some will tell you less then one day)
1 day to visit Downtown Disney

Other things in the area

Knotts Berry Farm
Adventure City
Wax Museum
Ripleys Believe it or Not
Mideval Times (dinner show)

A little farther there is
Sea World (in San Diego)
Legoland (also in SD)
San Diego Zoo (guess where)
Universal Studios (Hollywood)
Magic Mountain (?)

Hope this helps.

we got 4 day hoppers with our pkg. from get away today and 4 days was really too long. We used them since they expired in 2 weeks and since we are in Oklahoma, they would have been wasted otherwise. We had a great time, but since there were NO lines at all in either park, we did everything numerous times, so we got a little Disneyed out!!! (I can't believe it, but it's true!!LOL) We went on a Mon- Thurs and DL was open till 8pm and CA was open till 6 pm, so the hours were short, and we only had 1 EE, but we were fine. My DH (not a huge Disney fan) has sworn off ANY Disney park for 2 yrs. since we had so much on this trip!

3 to 4 days will be fine, depending on how many children you have and if they like to visit the characters or not. We have one 4-year old who loves the characters, and we just spent 4 days there, a lot of the time being spent making sure we were able to see all of her "friends" at least 2 -3 times. We had to visit Snow White and Woody every day. If you are adults only, you could probably see DL and CA in 2 days.

If you have little ones under 12, a side trip to Legoland is definitely worth it.
