How many days would you say we need at MK for a group that includes a toddler, 1st timers, a preschooler, teens, and adults who have been before? ;)

Our trip is the week after Thanksgiving, which is good. The UG lists it as the lowest crowds of the entire year. The downside is that the parks close early.

We want to be able to see just about everything in MK but still go at a relaxed pace. We plan on going only to MK, MGM and Epcot. Our trip is 7 days, but we may skip the parks one day.

We are thinking we need 3 days at MK. Is this enough? Too much? Any help appreciated!

Thanks

Assuming you want to take your time and enjoy yourselves.........during that time of year, I would say 2 days, maybe 3 if you really want to enjoy it and relax while in there. 2 days though normally gets it done in that times of year. However, everyone likes their own pace. I like to take it slow, so 2 days normally does it for my wife and I.

3 days should be good. That will give you plenty of time to enjoy everything you want to and do the things more than once you really loved.

If you are going after Thanksgiving, the MVMCP will have started. This is an evening event where they close the park at 6:00 pm and the party goes from 7:00 pm till midnight (if you have a ticket you can get in at 4:00 pm and stay the night). I would do this on a night where you do not go to the parks during the day. There is a limit to the amount of tickets sold and we went two years ago the week after Thanksgiving on a week night and it was not too crowded. There are special Christmas shows, a Christmas night time parade (try to watch from Main Street where it snows) and a holiday version of Wishes. You can also get on some of the rides easier as it should not get too crowded. I know you are going with a little one, but if you have a relaxing day during the day maybe the toddler would be ok for the night (I also remember they did not charge for the stroller rental at the party).

Don't know if you have checked into some of the other holiday things going on but at Epcot they have Holiday Celebrations around the world - in each country a few times a day they put on 10 to 15 minute skits where they tell about how they celebrate Christmas in their country. Mr. and Mrs. Clause are in the American Adventure - and there is a big Gingerbread House in the eating area in America. There is a special edition of Illuminations (hopefully they will have it this year) - they have add "Let There Be Peace on Earth" at the end and it is very beautiful. MGM also has a special holiday parade in place of their regular afternoon parade. Check out some of the hotels also - the decorations are wonderful.

It depends on how long you plan to stay each day.

We usually stay with our kids until about 1pm. We then go back to the resort and swim/rest/eat dinner. We liked the luau and plan on trying the Hoop Dee Doo Review. We also like to do DTD or BW in the evening.

I think you could do all of MK in three days like above or two days all day.
