WE are head to DL after 20+ trips to WDW. We will be staying at the GC at was wondering how many park days is needed for DL? We normally spend 5 nights at WDW. We are in no hurry to go anywhere else, just want to get an idea.

What time of year are you going? Crowds and operating hours can make a big difference in how many days are adequate.

If it was me, given your parameters, I'd say 3 day/2 night. I would select Sun - Tues.

Because you are at GC, you get EE on both Monday & Tuesday.

Since it is April, you would want to go on Sunday so you could ensure seeing the Fireworks & the Aladdin show. (this was exactly our criteria on our last visit.)

2 1/2 - 3 days should give you time to see most everything, especially if you utilize EE effeciently.

Being a WDW Vet you should read (& print) most of Hydroguy's thread "rules" as these will be helpful & will answer alot of questions.

Have fun. :thumbsup2

Three days at least IMO.

at least...before I got my AP I would go once a year and go for 5 days..now that I have my AP I go for 2 to 3 days because I go more often...if this is your first time I would go for 5 and no worries about what days are best because your smack dab in the middle of spring break and its gonna be crowded no matter what, which is why I suggest every day you are there except saturday...

We just went to DL for the first time in 20+ years after going to WDW numerous times. We went for 5 days and although we got to ride our favorite ride numerous times, I still didn't see everything that I wanted to at the 2 parks, but I felt like we covered a good part of it. I certainly didn't get bored with 5 days.

I totally agree with the last two posters! 5 days won't even be enough, but it will be a LOT better than 3! I only have 1 whole day and 2 partial days for my trip in August, and I KNOW I won't see/do all that I want to.:sad2:

Im gonna go with 5 days. As adults at a brisk pace we saw it in about 4 days then gave ourselves and extra day or so to redo our favorite things.

I ammend my 2 1/2 - 3 day comment (above) to 3 1/2 - 4 day. (somehow I thought the OP had indicated only 2 day so i was encouraging at least an extra day).

But consider the other items advised above in order to make the most of your DLR visit.
