On universals main site it says

Club Level Rooms are 335 square feet with either a Garden or Water View. By upgrading to one of 51 Club Level rooms or suites

But on universals meetings and events site it says

Royal Club Level Rooms
Enjoy additional perks and privileges when you upgrade to one of our 83 Club Level rooms or suites on the hotel's exclusive 6th and 7th floors.

Which is accurate?

I want to say the first number is the accurate count for the 7th floor. They then book more on other floors with access to the 7th floor and lounge. The club resides in tower 3. We have never done club in all of our stays. We bring a cooler and our own snacks. Then we choose where we want our main meals, much cheaper. :thumbsup2

Thanks:)
I have never done club before either for the same reasons. Once I was going to do it when I was splitting the cost with a friend but she backed out at the last minute. But with the 50% off pin it's only $55 more and I will have 2 teenage boys who will make good use of it:thumbsup2

i've done club the past 3 years.
i thought it was 40 club rooms on 7th floor.

a few years back they took out the king suites that face the pool/park and made the kids suite, which cut back on number of rooms.

and before that they took out quite a few rooms to enlarge the club lounge.

i stay on 6th floor as i book the king suite that has the pool view.
there are none w/that view now on 7th floor due to that past renovation.

floor 6 has the usual number of rooms as all the other floors below it has.

the way it is worded (what you copied for us to read) is confusing to interpret.

i'd have to look at my map to count the rooms to tell you which number i think is correct.

less rooms, maybe 40, on floor 7.
more rooms on floor 6.

you could call the hotel front desk and ask them the number of rooms on those floors.
then i wouldn't have to count the number of rooms on my map.....

Macraven Sorry about the way I copied it, I'm on my ipad and it would only copy the entire paragraph so I just deleted around it. I just thought it was weird that one listed 51 club level rooms and one listed 83.

I actually found it when searching for some kind of map with individual rooms listed which I had saved on my computer(that's now dead) and for the life of me can no longer find anywhere on the Internet. :confused3

I called this morning and the woman I spoke to said the number varies depending on season and how many they open up. I don't even understand what that means I thought they had a specific number of club rooms and that's that, not that it varied. So can they make the entire 6th flor club if they wanted. That's sounds crazy and could make club super crowded.

room77.com used to list the views by room number on their site.
now you have to click something to get to that map.
i forgot how to get to it.
it really wasn't a valid site for room views/numbers.
it didn't reflect the changes made at rph.

the rooms i always request were listed as poor view and what pic they showed for my rooms were not accurate.
but, since i know a lot of the locations on the floors, i could count off the number of rooms.

floor 7 is entirely club floor.
i do believe it has 40 rooms.
maybe i'm wrong and it is 51 rooms now on the floor.
math is not my strong suit........

since they remodeled, they took out the two king suites out that were by the elevator lobby, facing the pool.
that is why i choose to stay on floor 6.

floor 6 is not a club floor, but a guest can stay on any level and have club privileges.
i doubt they will ever make all of fl 6 club.

could be the second number you listed is the number of rooms on that floor.
i know a few years back the first room off the elevator, fl 6 was taken out and made into a supply room.

during low season, rooms can be taken out of the inventory if work is needed to be done in the room.
that could account on why the TM said what she said.
