How many Christmas presents have you bought?

We are actually forgoing gifts this year and taking a family trip. I will probably buy a few small things for my three adult kids to open Christmas morning, but nothing like a normal year of presents. I have to say that it is so freeing not having to race around doing all the shopping. We all agreed we would rather go away and spend time together which I am thrilled about.

0. Well maybe 2. First week of August thru Thanksgiving is major birthday season in my family with lots of parties so no time to think of Christmas gifts yet. And did a Disney trip in the middle of all the parties plus a baby shower coming up this weekend. Seriously tho, I usually wait for my Christmas bonus from work & then just give cash to the grands & their parents. They appreciate that at Christmas time.

I only have 3 so far. We have all but 1 birthday during the months of November and December, so I've been getting that stuff first. I do have my list ready so at least that part is done.

Christmas presents? I still haven't wrapped my head around the fact that Thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away! The weather isn't helping; low-to-mid 60s in Maine makes me think it's early October, not mid-November!

I have no idea - it's for my son who's 5 and an only child I have a couple left to purchase but he's pretty much done. I do need to buy for my mom but that's it. Hubby and I decided no gifts this year as we are headed to NYC for Christmas!

So far I have bought none... It is way before Thanksgiving and I already feel as if I am running behind.

Just 1. Today, DH just got his combo birthday/ Christmas present, big screen tv for the den. Hopefully will have DD’s next week if we are lucky enough to get tickets for the Taylor Swift concert. DS probably wants money. Idk what I want, probably SW stuff and putting aside for hopefully some different kind of travel next year

9. Eight spread out between 3 grandkids, things I bought when I saw them. One for DH. We bought each other Corkcicles on Deals and Steals and are saving until Christmas.

I have a lot left to do.
