How many Christmas lights did/will you put up??

Oldest dd wanted me to put some lights on the house this year...
Got 300 up so far...DW will probaly put another 300 or so up...

Her Uncle has someone put lights up at his house...
I think last year he had around 100,000 lights...

I have been asking Dh to put lights up for years and he won't do it

None outdoors. Put up my Christmas tree (which is prelit) and strung some clear lights on my fake ficus tree. It looks very "Disneyesque" if I do say so myself.

now I really feel like Clark Griswold...first the vacation planning and now Christmas lights.

A rough count would be about 5,000 twinkling little bulbs. I have about 6 trees with 2 strands each of 200 in front of the house, and then the 2 flower beds with smaller shrubs/plantings got about 9 strands of 300.

edit...Oh I forgot about inside...probably another 700 on the tree and another 500 up the stairway banister.

Not sure if ours will even go up this year. DH can't put them up since he had surgery on his shoulder. I guess I'm gonna have to figure out how to do it myself.

I have not started yet, not sure if I will put any up outside or not. I want to...

Dh usually goes all out at Christmas with the lights, but this Christmas we won't be home much so we only put up the tree and the Icicle lights around the roof line, and a few around the deck.

Oh boy..don't know if I can answer this question totally.
There's 500 on the tree, another 100 on the mantel, 50 on the little tree in the living room, have no clue how many on my sons tree in his room. Outside...about 200 on the porch, 100 on the bush and I have no clue how many on the deer in the yard. So that's 950 I can account for. Unless Ds decorates the toy shed....he's a christmas decorating fool!!! Someday I should post pics of his room. He decorates it every year...this year it's actually calm!!!
