How many children?

One DS 26, the only choice for us. I don't know how people do it with more, but I am glad there are so many who have more than one, it keeps things even! Bless you all.

We have 2 kids a DS 3 and DD 8 months. I think it is perfect boy and girl. Not sure I could handle more. Plus we have no more room for more right now. DS has his own room but DD sleeps in our room. Very crowded with a king size bed and crib. LOL

Raised my own 4 plus helped raise two of my husband's 4. Mine are 32, 29, 28 and 26. Now we're raising my husband's granddaughter (we're her legal guardians), Isabella, who is now 5! She's a delight and is keeping me young. My "kids" adore her and she's wild about them too. They also laugh and say Isabella is taking the pressure off them to produce grandchildren right away.

I always thought I'd have six but first husband (and HIS MOTHER) decided otherwise and he had vasectomy after #4! Can you imagine why we're not married anymore?

I think the right number for you (and your spouse) is the right number whether its 0 or 12. Personally, I thought the third one was the toughest. Suddenly more kids than hands or eyes or parents. After that #4 was easy.

Several years from now (I'm thinking about 4 years), I would like to start trying to have kids. I want either 2 or 3, I'm not sure which. We will see what we are blessed with when the time comes.

I have 2, but I would have liked 4. When I was growing up I had big ideas of having 6 & it would be 3 of each. But, I think 2 is enough now that I have them & they are teenagers

Big families are so much fun. I have six brothers and sisters and I'm very close to most of them. I hope my kids are close when they grow up too. It's so nice to have people who knew you back when and who understand you better than you understand yourself.

As far as I am concerned- I am finished!! But, when I was younger, I wanted at least 2......but, I also always wanted to be happily married. LOL Some things are not in the cards.

We're blessed with two kids. DD is 4.5 going on 12, and DS is 2 months. Not sure if we're done now or not...we're contemplating a 3rd in a few years. Only time will tell....

We have one DS (almost 5) and are currently "working" on trying to get him a baby brother (or sister). Now that I'm getting so much older I'm a little worried that it may never happen (although it hasn't been very long yet). Funny though. I always wanted to have 2 kids before I turned 30. Kind of screwed that up! I was over 30 before I even had my first!

Currently have 5 living, 1 deceased, expecting our 7th. As to how many we want....????? Haven't reached that number yet. Have to let you know in the future.

Birthed 3...raised 4...paid for 5 !!! This means I had 3....and my huband had 2 (one of which lives with us...the other lived with his mother). Thank God!! All are grown now with the youngest being away at college. However, having this many children has taken its toll on the Christmas list!! #9 grandchild is due in 2 weeks and #10 is due to arrive in April !!!

CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!!! (Or at least let me hit the LOTTERY!! so I can spoil these Grandchildren the way God intended Grandma's to do!!!)
