How many children?

I always wanted a big family, I truly envy those with 5 or more children.
Right now we have one DS, 4 yrs old.
We had a lot of trouble conceiving our son. We are truly bless to have him in our lives.

So far we haven't been able to have another We are going to try for probably for another 2 or 3 yrs. if nothing happens by then we are thinking of looking into adoption.
I do want at least 2 children, so if I have to adopt in order to have 2 children, then so be it. Being a mom is more important then actually giving birth!!

We were never having children. Not by choice, but I was told I would never concieve. Never discussed adoption, really no time. That's because I got pregnant on our honeymoon (shows you what those Wyoming doctors knew ). After her birth, considered just having one, then Kimmi came along while on birth control. Due to some serious medical problems after Kimmi was born, I was told to have my tubes tied, which I did, at 21. No regrets. Love my two girls (22 and almost 21) and have had no desire for any more or any less.

I actually thought about having a 4th so the baby would have somebody to play with, but DH wasn't fond of the idea.

2 boys..6 and 3..and I just got the youngest potty trained!!!!! yay!!!!!! Hubby wouldn't mind a baby girl tho, I on the other hand don't know if I can handle another one besides I just got a job so most likely 2 will be it for us...

We have just one -- DD17. We tried for 3 years to get pregnant and then adopted our DD from Korea. She was 5 mos. old when she came, just like a newborn at 8 lbs.!

We applied for a second Korean child, but good old Bryant Gumbel put a kibosh on that with his thoughtless comments during the Seoul Olympics that Korea was known for "exporting" babies -- so Korea drastically curtailed the children to be adopted and we thought maybe were were just meant to have just one.

She's our pride and joy!

I have one 7 year old son. DH and I wanted another one, but God had other plans. It took me 10 years to be able to have DS and then we tried for a few more years beyond that for #2, but it wasn't meant to be. I am very thankful for the one I have.

We have one daughter, she will be three in November. We would like to have one more, maybe next year.

We have two, DS 11 and DD 9. If you ask my DW she would say three, including me. She would be right!

I have 2...DD8 and DS4...I am most definetley done!! I don't think I have the patience for another. And to do the baby thing again w/ teen years coming up...WOW...now that would be a challenge I don't think I ever wanna try!!

I have 1 child and that is enough! She is now 4, "wild and wonderful".

FWIW, I think that 0 is also a valid answer. It was my answer for a very long time.

I have one. I wanted 3, would have settled for two. Didn't happen. So, now I am constantly nagging my son to marry and give me grandchildren. I want to have a child near me
