This is our first "kid-friendly" trip. ;) Our other two trips were adults only.

I'd like to try a character meal w/ our then-to-be 16 month old son. I'm deciding between one, two or three meals.

I'm having a hard time picking though - he loves Pooh so Crystal Palace seems a natural choice, but I've always wanted to do Chef Mick's!

I'd say go for both CM and CP. That way you get different characters and the food is pretty good. Since they're both buffets it's easier on the little one because there isn't really any waiting. Have fun!

Do you know if he's afraid of Characters?????

If his not I would do :

Crystal Palace

Chef Mickey's

O'hanna for breakfast or Cape May cafe for breakfast

Iwould say then do the CP and then try CM.I think if u do anymore it might a little over kill for ur son.I think 2 is plenty.

Having three boys, and having taken a child the same age as yours to Disney, I would ask the same question as above.....Is he afraid of characters. My son's loved the characters but our middle son was very weary of Pooh! The character he probably knew the best!

So, if the answer is no, then I would say CP, Chef Mickeys and Hollywood & Vine (for the Little Einsteins & JoJo)

My boys loved the Hollywood & Vine the best last year.......but they also watch the shows every morning.

May I ask who is at O'hanna's and Cape May cafe. I am also trying to look into a low profile experience for my dgd who will be 3 at the time of our trip.TIA Grammy:goodvibes

I'd recommend at least one be Cape May character breakfast. At that age, lots of little ones are intimidated by the size of the characters. Add to that the usually loud, bustling atmosphere of lots of places and I can see the possibility of real fear. Cape May tends to be quieter, calmer, maybe a good place to get up close and personnal with the characters for the first time.
