How many bring a video camera?

brought one once, but we like the digital camera better.

We bought our's before our trip in 2006 and used it everyday. It was our youngest 2 first trip to the World and DH took video of everything. We brought it again this year and even though I thought we wouldn't use if very much, it sure came in handy. DD4 was picked to be in the Captain Jack show and as nice as the still photos are, they don't beat the video we have of it.

I would bring it even if you don't end up using it much. You just never know when that magical moment is going to happen.

I always bring my camera to WDW and other parks I go to and post most of my videos on Youtube.

We brought ours last trip and did not use it, it broke the second day!!!
We love our d. camera, we just upgraded and bought a d 35 mm for our next trip, what a difrence in shutter time!!!!

We have a digital HD camcorder that will fit in a jacket pocket. I have taped several rides including EE from the front seat. We taped parades, the candlelight processional, etc. I think there are times I prefer to tape and times I prefer my camera. You just plan your activities ahead of time and figure out do you want a special event like Wishes on video, then snapshot your other memories with a camera.

We're going in Feb and I definitely want to bring mine. My problem is my old JVC compact-c is going out. I'm in the market for a not too expensive mini-dv. I've read that some of you have them and they have low-light settings. Let me know what models you have and if you find the low light settings work well. I'd been interested in researching them. Thanks!

We have a DVD camcorder, that hardly gets any use, and it should.
Do you bring yours to DW or is it just more of a hassle??

took it once. have settled on a sony ds cameral that records also. seems to be lighter and easier to store in a backpack. takes great pix and will get special events like fireworks and parades.
