Just curious as to if this is cost effective to others? We have had AP's for the last several years. We always book a room discount. However after running the numbers, we just booked a FD package. I couldn't be more surprised! We currently had a 2 week stay during F&W festival at POFQ on a BB discount. After running numbers, we moved over to All Star Sports with free Quick Service meals for the whole time plus we have the 2 day PH that I plan on not using. I will take the credit from them and apply them to renewing my AP's next summer. The room only at POFQ and the reservation at All Star Sports with all meals for 3 adults with the tickets equaled to the same amount of money.
Seems to good to be true! I know I downgraded resorts, but for 2 weeks worth of meals and 3 tickets to use toward AP renewal (currently those 3 tickets are worth about $250 each) this seemed like a no brainer! We have no desire to upgrade the DP because we will be so busy with F&W doing seminars and events. We only planned to eat QS meals anyway.
Does anyone else do something similar??
