How many $$$ a day?

Hey only 15 days to go until our trip
So i'm just going over everything again to make sure everything is ok. My question is how many dollers a day would everyone so is enough for my DGf (17) and me (19) to couver us for food and things in the park?

Depends on what type of meals you plan on eating...there's counter service, which is the least expensive, sit downs and buffets. We usually do atleast 1 or 2 character buffets, breakfast is just under $20/pp and dinner is about $30/pp. My personal favorites are Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. Anyway, our most recent trip last month was on a strict budget, so we did mostly counter service and 2 buffets. Also, figure on the days you do a buffet you might not be eating 3 full meals...$75-$100/day is MORE than enough to cover both of you for meals and snacks. And of course that always depends on what inds of shoppers you are (I always need a separate budget for that!)

We are light eaters so will only have 2 meals a day we think. We wont have a hire car so are going to take taxi to universal etc.. What can I expect to pays for a taxi?

Last couple of trips we only ate two meals a day - we had a snack for breakfast in our room and then had an early counter service lunch in the parks between 11 and 11:30 (this worked out well becasue there were no lines at most places).
Counter service meal for 4 (4 burgers and a small soda) usually came to around $35.
For dinner we either ate at counter service in the parks or the food court at the resort most days - these again came to around $35 to $40 depending on what we ate.
Some days we had a PS booked at a sit-down or buffet restaurant either in the parks or in resorts. The buffet or 'homestyle' restaurants were the best value, as you could eat as much as you liked. Also useful if you are fussy eater These meals were around $100-120 for the 4 of us, depending on what drinks we had and whether we had a dessert etc.

Taxis to Universal will be pricey. Have a look at Mears transfers, or checkout the price for a Towncar transfer to Universal. But then again if it's just one or two trips the taxi fares will still be cheaper than the insurance if you had a rental car

Mears is $14.00 a person for both ways from ASMo resort. I talked to them a couple of days ago. They told me to call the day before to schedule. They pretty much picked up/dropped off every hour! Hope this helped!

Seriously, If you are eating in restuarants 2+ times a day, I'd set aside $100.00 for the 2 of you.

www.allearsnet.com has all the dining menus, under dining, if you want to get an idea for what places look good and how much they are going to run you. You can eat as cheaply or as expensive as you want at Disney =0
