My neighbor just came knocking on my door. Her 2 year old son has been missing for a couple of hours. I wouldn't have waited this long, and someone would have to sedate me by now also if DD was missing. Very scary!

Oh my god!!!

If my 2 year old is out of my sight for 5 minutes I search the house for him.

Has she called someone yet??

Her friend was in our backyard with a phone in her hand. She was looking in the retention pond in our backyard. I really hope they have called someone, but I haven't seen any police cars out yet.

OMG!! A 2 year old...have you heard anything? I would be terrified! My goodness if my 11 year old was missing for 15 minutes I would be looking for him.....what on earth was a 2 year old wandering free for?

Please let us know when you hear something....

I hoep they find him soon. i wouldn't of waited that long either.

I'd be frantic!!! Aren't you going to help them search look for him? The more people they have looking the quicker they can locate him or at least some clues as to where he might have gone!!!

OMG!!! You gotta be kidding me!!!! A COUPLE HOURS!!!!???? I would have had a heart attack and died by now. I would have been on the phone with the police after 2 minutes!!!

Please let us know that he is ok.

Unfortuantly I can't go help. It's pouring rain outside and I'm home alone with my 3 year old.

Any Updates? Gosh this has me really worried! Do you know this person well enough to call and see if they found the baby!

Well, I guess if you can't think of any way to help .... I hope for your sake you are never in need of your neighbor's help.

Trapped parent that was a little uncalled for. You have no idea what situation sdoane is in or exactly how many people are out there looking for this little boy.

OMG...my nine year old isn't aloud to wander freely... but more importantly please update if you hear anything. (I understand not being able to go when alone with a 3 year old, for heavens sake I hope they find him).

Yes Please do update.

I haven't been able to think of anything else since you posted this. I pray to god they find him.

I too understand being home with a 3 year old. I have my 4 year old and 2 year old home too.

OMG! A couple hours??? Why the heck did she wait so long???
When DS was 2 I woke up 1 morning to find him not in his bed. I immediately searched the house, closets and all and couldnt find him. I hysterically called DH at work who confirmed he was in bed when he left. I finally found him after probably 5 minutes in our garage. I cant imagine waiting around for 2 hours!!!

I sure hope everything works out ok. Please do update us.

I hope there is some good news soon. :(

If I couldn't find my child I would immediately be looking everywhere, I'd be calling 911 and knocking on neighbor's doors. I hope they find the child soon, that is so scarey. Please keep us posted.

Have you heard anything. I just popped on to have a look at the Theme parks board, and checked in here to see what's going.

sdoane: I understand your inability to go out and look since you have your own child to look after. I hope the previous post didn't upset you to the point of not checking this thread. Let us know what happens.
