What is the max amount of time you'd wait to ride Expedition Everest? (We are assuming that there are no fastpasses available this day!)

Never, Won't ride it. Don't like roller coasters or rough rides.

Actually I'd wait 20 minutes--but that wasn't an option on the poll. 20 minutes is the max we'll wait for any ride. Any posted time longer than that, we move on to something else.

When I answered the poll, I was answering as though I had never rode the ride, and not knowing when I would return to WDW, so I answered one hour. Now that I have been on EE several times, now I would only wait approx. 30 mins.

I said I would wait 15 minutes but during AP preview weekend I waited about 110 minutes, but our whole point in going up that weekend was to ride EE. We went back earlier the next day and rode it once with a 10 minute wait and once with FPs.

ONe of the reasons I won't wait long is that my DH can't ride coasters so I am always alone in these lines. If I was with a group I would wait 30 minutes and explore the queue again with others.

Ditto.

We waited two hours in July. All Fastpass machienes int he park were down, and it was hot. If it were up to DH and I we would have just left the park and returned another day but DD and DS really wanted to ride it and so we stayed and did that.

On Sunday the wait was 40 minutes and we got in line, it actually only took 28 minutes from the time I got in line until I got off.

:teeth: 20 minutes is our max, too.

i put one hour. i have ridden ee several times already. it was either with fp or early in the morning with no wait. and every time we commented on great the queue area looked and wouldnt it be fun to actually enjoy it. that is why i would wait an hour.

Ok, I'm in the minority here. I don't mind waiting the hour (as long as my DS4 is not with me at the time). I've waited 75 minutes at Splash Mtn with my mom and brother the year after it first opened at WDW.

If Fast Pass were down or unavailable I would wait 45 min unless I had already been on it that day then I wouldn't waste my time waiting... I'd go somewhere else.

There wasn't a choice for my answer. I won't wait for this one due to how it made me feel last time :crazy2:  I will gladly wait on a bench while my family rides it :)

I haven't had the chance to ride yet, but based on the fact that a lot of folks have commented on how well themed the queue area is, I said 1 hour. (I waited over 2 hours for Indiana Jones at DL the first time I rode it, and there was so much to see and do in line that I hardly noticed how much time had passed...)

My biggest factor in my reply is that it is new to me, and I will have the time on my nest trip to just focus on thenew items and taking a relaxing pace through the parks. Ultimately, I plan on using FP on this one.

If we had never been on EE, I'd probably wait an hour.
But normally, 30 minutes is our max wait for pretty much any ride.

Using FP's and TGM to visit during peak spring break season and do everything without ever waiting in a line longer than 20 minutes has spoiled me.

If you moved on every time you saw a posted wait time of over 20 minutes, you would be doing a bunch of moving on methinks.

I tend not to trust the "posted time," because actual wait time is sometimes much less of a wait than that posted. I would advise asking the CM near the line if the posted time is accurate. I suspect that many times the posted wait time is overstated so that folks in line will be happy to find that they have spent less time in line than they expected.

Enjoy.

30-45 minutes. But I've never had to wait for Expedition Everest and didn't wait during the summer at the end of June. I got there early and ran like a mad woman. :rotfl:

The max I will wait for any ride it 20-30 minutes now that I have been to WDW. If I had to wait in line for two hours I would never make it. I'd pee my pants. :lmao:
