How Long will the resort hold a package?

Checking in at OKW 2 weeks from today. Wanted to order a princess gown for DD6 but the package may arrive at OKW either Thursday/Friday this week, which is the 25th/26th. Is that too early? Will the resort refuse the package if I am not checking in for another 9 days?

You should be fine, last March I ordered stuff and it was to take 2 weeks to be delivered, but for some reason it got there in 2 days which was 17 days before our arrival and it was ok, this was at the Poly, as long as it has an arrival date they should take it.

Can someone remind me again how to send a package to our resort? I want to order something from Disneydirect but don't know what all info I need. Thanks in advance.

When you place your order, when it asks for the shipping name and address, put down your name and "arriving ??/??/??" (insert your arrival date), then the name of the resort and the resort address. This way they should just keep it in bell services luggage area, and they should attach a note to your reservation on the computer so when you check in the cm will see that you have a package being held. Depending on your resort, they can sometimes arrange to have the package delivered right to your room if you ask at check in.

Just in case, I always call the resort before I leave home, after I think the package has been delivered, to check that it arrived and that they have noted it on my reservation. Saves me the worry.
