And how do I go about that?? I'm due to arrive in WDW in 3 days and had planned on purchasing our passes at the AF base near my home, however, with all of the events that have taken place the facility where the tickets are purchased has been closed. So now I'm thinking of going to SOG when we arrive but wanted to know how long it will take and if it's worth it. It will just be me & DD 3yr. I forgot to add that I would be using WDW transportation. Is this even possible??

There are several ways to get there, but not without changing modes of transportation along the way.

One way is to take a Disney bus to MGM Studios or Animal Kingdom. Then catch the SOG bus there. However, I believe the SOG bus only runs once an hour to those parks, so you may have to wait for awhile.

Another way, and more fun, is to take a Disney bus to MK, then take the monorail to the Poly and walk from there. Total time about an hour including the 15 minute walk. If that is too much walking for your 3 year old, then take the monorail from MK to the TTC and catch the SOG shuttle bus there. It runs every 30 minutes.

It's probably not worth your time for the few dollars you'll save. We're staying at ASMu next week and going to SoG for passes, too...but we have to buy 3 adult tickets and one child ticket, and we'll have a car.

Not to mention that SOG has cracked down on checking ID's to get onto their property due to the attacks. Whether you could even get onto an SOG bus I'm not sure if you aren't staying there.
