How long until SSR sells out?

Does anyone know how far along the sales are for SSR? Is there anyway for us to know how many buildings are left to be sold? Just curious.

I believe they are down to 1+ buildings. Of greater concern at this point is when they will start running out of points in your Use Year. Depending upon customer need, certain Use Years will sell out before others.

They should still be selling for 4+ months, but may run out of your UY early. Even if that happens they won't sell you a different UY. You could buy a new contract of 160+, but that can create problems in terms of banking, co-mingling the points, etc.

I just bought at SSR with an April UY. They only had 3 UY's left. April, June and August. April had the least amount of points left (~4000), June had (~12000) and August had (~24000).

One interesting thing is that there is no May UY (that's the one I originally wanted but it not an option anywhere).

if thats right there close to selling out, if average is 200 points only 200 contracts left

They just declared some more SSR into DVC inventory on Oct 12. Looks like that's the last of building 17. All of building 18 is yet to be declared. Each building is in the neighborhood of 750,000 points.

Note: 4 units were declared on Oct 12. 3 units consisted of 3 2-br's (about 45,000 points per unit), and 1 unit consisted of 4 2-br's (about 60,000 points.) I suspect each unit is a different UY, but the UY is not indicated on the documents filed with Orange County.
I suspect that Tinkerdreams purchased before these last units were declared, and the figures she posted were what were available at the time she purchased.

Hey DVC John, I did buy first of October. It looks like it might be the first quarter of 2008 before SSR is sold out. At least that's what my guide anticipated...
