how long until I hear back from Coordinator....really?

I just called today to try and book my Escape Wedding for May 1 of next year....
By all your experiences, how long until I hear back and what do you think my chances are of gettiny my specific requests? (Sea Breeze Pointe @ 2:30 hopefully)

I called last year and heard back w/in 2 days. I called about 2 months ago and they said "three days maximum". The third day came along and at about 4:45pm I realized I wasn't getting a call back. So I called them and told them to please have someone call the next morning (which would have been the 4th day). No one called...so at about 12:30pm I called AGAIN and said I hadn't been contacted w/in the three days, then I called and asked to be contacted in the morning and wasn't...please connect me. And they did. Just be persistant if no one calls back.

I had called in February and they said three days max. Around 3-4pm on the third day, a coordinator called me. I'm sorry to hear, PixyDusted, that you had to chase after them.

I guess it all depends on who you speak to and who the coordinator ends up being.

Don't feel bad, my original coordinator went on Maternity leave and didn't tell me! I waited and waited to hear back from her, finally called the main number and they're like "oh she's out for a few months" Second coordinator is awesome though. =)

I called and received a return call the same day.

I heard back later the same day. No problems. If anything, call and ask to speak to an assistant or something. Or email his/her assistant. Sometimes a quick email is easier to respond to.

I now have my planner instead of a coordinator, but my planner's assistant is awesome, she gets back the same day almost everytime.

calismic> we may have had the same coordinator, because mine went out on maternity leave last year too. But she emailed me several times about it..strange you never heard anything. She turned out to be an awesome coordinator. Hope you had good luck with your second one.

We called to book our escape wedding at the Wedding Pavilion at 9 am exactly 8 months ahead of times (you can't do it at the year mark for the Wedding Pavilion for the escape wedding). I was really worried we wouldn't get our date to begin with because the Wishes people already had four months to book our site on the same date. She didn't answer the phone at 9 and left her a message. So I called back twice before 10, when my friend was defending her thesis and I wanted to be there for her! I was very worried at that point and called my DF about not being able to get through on the phone.

While I was in my friend's defense, he called the wedding coordinator multiple times as well. He called managers, different wedding departments, and finally found out she was in a meeting all morning. When we booked our escape wedding at the wedding pavilion, we got a confirmation email the next day. By the time my friend's presentation was done with, my DF had all the details taken care of

So, I would suggest calling them, so you don't have to worry to much. It worked for us.
