How long to walk to marina from cabins?

Sorry if this is a silly question, but we're trying to figure out if we want to switch our resort from POR to the Cabins for late August. Have no concept of how large the resort is, so wondering if it is even possible to walk from a cabin to the marina to catch the boat to MK. I know there are internal buses, but were hoping the walk wouldn't be terrible to just make. We've stayed at the other moderates, and are used to a 10-15 minute walk to get to the main area, so curious if that's what we're facing here as well.

10/15 minutes a minimum up to 30 minutes depending on your cabin location and your walking speed. The weather in August could be another factor regarding an enjoyable walk. Can be hot and humid even in AM hours.

It's about a mile from the Outpost to the Settlement. Most cabins are near the Outpost and the Marina is in the Settlement area. I'd take the bus. Cooler and you can save your energy for the parks. Coming back you will likely be wasted, so ...another bus. There are three bus lines, so check the route at the bus stops for the correct one back to your cabin.
