We are curretly planning a trip to WDW at the end of Feb and would like to include US in our vacation. We want to know how much time we will need at Universal. I do not want to be rushed but we also want to spend a bunch of time at WDW. If anyone can shed some light on this I would greatly appriciate this. My husband is returning home from Iraq in a 2 weeks after a year and I want to make sure that I plan this vacation right!

I would stay for two nights at a Universal resorts giving you three full days of express access. Universal is a wonderfully relaxed vacation when you stay on site.

Brooklyn is such a cutie!

The longest we have stayed onsite is 4 nights, only going to Universal theme parks. The kids were bored by around day 3. We are going to the HRH in April for 4 nights again, but planning on spending one day at Blizzard Beach to break the trip up.

Would 2 nights 3 days apply to Memorial Day Wkend? We are planning on 4 nights at HRH (I think---cause we're still planning and haven't work the details out yet). We are moving on over to WDW too and want our days to count. Do you think we'd do better with only 3 nights at HRH?

Well, we are staying 7 nights next month, so you can see that we love the place. I would do a minimum of two nights so you get three days of the parks. Three nights would be wonderful and any more than that is just gravy!!!

2 nights/3 days is plenty. Especially if you check in early on the first day and get to the parks when they open. If you check in at 7am, your room may be ready and you can unpack. That makes it "feel" like an extra day. The idea is 1 day per park, and the last day for favorites.

Always schedule the Universal part at the end of the trip, because once you stay onsite, you'll be spoiled.

On your check out day, you can hit the parks early in the morning for a couple hours, and leave at noon.

the longest i have stayed at universal hotel hrh has been 5 nights, 6 days.

we did spend time shopping at city walk and took in a movie one hot late afternoon. we took our time in the parks and 4 days was more than enough time for us as we are repeat customers there.

if you do the shows, all the shows at both parks, you could spend 4 days in the park easily. they are time consuming. the wait in line could be 20 minutes, the show itself and then leaving the show. if you spent an hour total with one show, it cuts into the ride and attraction time. that is why i stated 4 days would give you enough time to do it all in the parks..

if you don't do all the rides, you could do it in 3 days if you had fotl perks.

Brooklyn's a total cutie. even better is the first pic with Jasmine. Jasmine's letting it all hang out. :)

We are staying four nights and five days... our flight will arrive at 9:15 a.m. on Monday and will depart at 8:25 p.m. on Friday. So we will actually have half of Monday and almost all day on Friday. We are also planning to take in Sea World.
