How long to spend in World Showcase with kids?

How many hours would you plan to spend in World Showcase with three little girls, ages 8, 6, and 2? We have never been to Epcot before and I am trying to plan our day. They will bore easily with the shops (not to mention they are at the age where "looking" involves "touching" everything!) and they are NOT interested in eating (except a treat here or there!). I do want to take the time to do the pick a pearl in Japan, but trying to figure out what else they might be interested in. Thanks for your help and feedback!

Obviously there is the Frozen ride I'm sure they'd enjoy. Also, Mexico has a boat ride thru their attraction they might like. There are entertainers along the walkway in some of the countries that can be fun. Other than that, shops and great places to eat which you said they wouldn't like. If you get a FP for for Frozen I'm sure 2 hours would be enough time to plan for.

I have had mixed thoughts about how long we will spend at Epcot with our four grandkids ages 1-5 1/2 at the time of our trip (which will be during F&G next May). After reading this article on Epcot for Young Children I think we will add more time than originally planned. http://www.buildabettermousetrip.com/epcot-with-young-children/

We have the luxury of a 9-day visit so we can go to Epcot on more than one day. So our plan is to visit half of Future World and half of WS on one day and do the other half of both on another day. That way we can plan an FEA FP on one of the days and Soarin or Test Track on the other for those tall enough. I think our kids will really enjoy the Seas and the Land and some of the live entertainment at WS, as well as the food kiosks.

We LOVE Epcot for our little ones, but not much in World Showcase. Frozen Ever After, the ride in Mexico, and visiting princesses are always a hit. Akershus is a good restaurant if you want character interactions.

You could plan to see the princesses; especially if there are any that they like. You can look up the times on the Disney world website and then plan to tour the world showcase based on those times and who they want to see. Also there is this thread that was just started regarding the princesses around the world showcase if you are interested:
