Hi all...

With all the knowledge here I am sure someone can answer this question...

I have a trip planned for WDW from 09-25-05 to 10-01-05. It will be me, DH, DS15, DD13, DD10, DS8 and my MIL and FIL. We have reservations at POP and also got the free dining plan  (Yippee!). We will have MYW tickets for six days - not parkhoppers, so we can only visit one park each day. We are also considering magic plus for PI, DQ and water parks...

Anyway it has been nine years since I have been to WDW and I have only ever been to the MK. I am trying to figure out how to allocate my six days of tickets for the parks.

So my big question is which parks will take the least amount of time and the most amount of time.

I am also trying to figure out some PS arrangements such as Disney character breakfast and HoopDeDo that I would like to coincide with the parks that take the least amount of time. Also trying to figure out how to squeeze in water parks and DQ.

It looks like the crowds predicted for this time of year are very low, however I am wondering if they took into consideration the great deal Disney is offering now (free dining)? I bet that will mean a lot of people will be taking advantage of that offer.

Anyway help is much appreciated!!

By the way - I can't stay off this board now! I am addicted and I just found the board last week! I am driving my husband crazy  with details about our trip!! And to think we have four more months to go!! We will all be  by then!!

I would definitely give yourself a whole day at MK and probably Epcot too. Because there aren't alot of rides, AK can usually be done in a 1/2 day. Personally, my favorite is MGM. I can't stay off the TOT and Rockin Roller Coaster. :goodvibes Most of the people I know, usually go to MK twice during their visits, if they have enough time. Have fun!!! ::MickeyMo

It's also, I have found, to be the busiest park. Have fun!!! ::MickeyMo Sorry about the double post.

Agree with FanOfStitch. My family usually spends 1/2 day at AK which is usually ok because by the afternoon it can sweltering hot in AK. You might then head over to one of the water parks for the rest of the afternoon. Then plan a whole day at EPCOT, MK and MGM. For me, I end up staying at EPCOT the longest because I like to watch the street performers along the World Showcase in the late afternoon and then wait for the evening fireworks. Then it's MK for the next longest, then MGM, then AK for me.

If you are doing 6 days at the parks and can't hop, I'd suggest two days for MK, two for Epcot, and one day each for AK and MGM.

I'd try to get to MK at opening one morning, then stay late one night for Wishes. AK is a good 1/2 day park- maybe do a waterpark the other 1/2 day. I'd try to get to MGM early, and either stay all day, or leave for an afternoon break, then go back for Fantasmic. Epcot is also a park that I'd do one day early, then the other day go for the evening.

Maybe the days you do MK and Epcot early, you could leave in the mid to late afternoon, and head over to DTD for DQ and PI. The days you go for the evenings, sleep in and lounge around the Pop pools during the morning.

Sounds like you will have a great vacation! :flower:
