How long to pay off add-on?

I was going to do a small add-on. After I pay the 10% down, how long do I have to pay the balance? We are not going to finance. We are waiting for a check to come in to us, but since we have an April UY, we want to start the transaction so as to get 2009 points that we can bank.

I mailed the 10% deposit around 2/24 and tomorrow I will be sending our closing documents and remaining balance, so about a month. Our ROFR wait was 21 days.

If you have a reason that you need to delay final payment, just mention it to your guide. When I added on last June, I put my down payment at the beginning of June (the day after my statement closing date on my Disney Visa). I then asked if they could wait to charge the balance to the Visa until July 3rd (so it would miss another statement closing date).

Since I was getting 6 months, 0% interest for using the Visa, I wanted to delay things as much as possible. They had no problem and set it up to autobill our credit card. On July 7th, they did and then the contract closed.

It was great because I got until January to pay the whole thing off with no interest (had the money but it was nice not having to part with all of it at once!!!).

I did the same thing last year when I did a small add on direct with Disney. I let my guide know that I wanted to pay the entire balance with my Disney Visa to take advantage of the 0% and I was able to stretch out the final payment to about 5 1/2 weeks after the deposit.
