How long to get to WL from MK??

We have booked a holiday sleigh ride and will be visiting MK that day. Is there a bus to WL from MK or do we have to get the boat. How long will this take from leaving the park to getting to the lobby at WL.

It depends on the crowds at that time however the boat ride only takes about 5-10 min once you get on the boat and it's a min or two walk from the boat to the WL Lobby.

The boats run every 15 minutes or so. But I'd allow at least 45 minutes to get to your destination b/c the boat goes to Fort Wilderness as well. I know they switch the order in the afternoon, too. In the mornings I think the boat goes Fort Wilderness-WL-MK and in the afternoon it goes WL-FW-MK.

You can also take the bus to WL. That is a 4 minute ride. But again, allow at least 1/2 an hour to catch the bus. You never know if you'll show up at the bus stop and a bus will be there or if one has just left or if one is coming. I believe the busses run every 15 minutes or so, but just give yourself plenty of travel time.

The boats run every 20 mins. the ride is about 3 to 5 mins. Not long at all!!!

We just returned and never waited more than 10minutes for the boat to WL. The bus was much longer because you have to take the monorail to the TTC and catch the bus there, by then you would have already been to the WL if you took the boat. We took the bus 1 time, the rest always the boat.

There may be 3 or more boats in the "route."

They do not necessarily all follow the same path.

Lines for the boats tend to get pretty long after parades or fireworks and you could end up waiting for a second or even third boat. If this is the case, it may be faster to take the monorail or walk to the Contemporary and take the boat from there to WL.
