How long to get member id cards?

We officially closed yesterday on our BWV resale!!! We just can't wait to get into the system to make our first reservation!!!

We will be in Disney in less than two weeks and were wondering what the chances we will have our membership ids by then? We are there during the DVC Stich preview and our DS (5) would love to do it!!! Do you think there is any way we can rush our membership packet?

We have been in the system for about a month and have ressies for OKW in 28 days. I called today to ask about membership cards and they said it was doubtful we would get our cards before we leave. They don't send them out until your deed work is done. They told us to use our key card which will say member and/or our ressie confirmation. I don't really know what you can use if you aren't staying on points. Have a great trip.

Now the bad news ... I think it normally takes 4-6 weeks after closing to get your membership card. I believe we got ours in 5 weeks but some have gotten theirs little earlier and vice versa

Administration told me 2-3 weeks before we get our cards (I am sure she was being optimistic), but that we can go to SSR to get temporary cards printed. She said we should have no problem using them for DVC perks. I hope she is right!

In my signature you can find the timeline from Closing to actual cards in my hands. For us it was about 4-6 weeks.
